Do you believe your private need justifies using force and the threat of force on an uninvolved Other Party to get what you believe you "need". Government Force is still theft even though it is legal.
Every cent taken from another citizen for your sake, means less money goes to that other Citizen's kid. In short you believe your kid should live at the expense of another kid.

No, it doesn't mean less money goes to another citizen's kid. The tax money is pooled for everyone's benefit, and some is diverted to programs like special ed.
And what would Jesus do? He told people to render to Caesar what was Caesar's.
