^ Yeah, no one in the UK is calling for the confiscation of meat cleavers.
Doesn't the UK already relatively strict laws when it comes to knives? Obviously, this man didn't care and he had a gun as well. Thankfully more people didn't die in this cowardly attack.
Do you mean to say that a man had a gun,
but did not use it to kill someone, and he used a knife instead?
Then why is there no uproar over the proliferation of bladed weapons in the UK?
A handgun has been reported by a number of witnesses but I have not seen any reports of it being fired.
May have been a replica used for intimidation?
It seems the aim was to attack and kill a serving soldier, make statements followed with suicide by cop.
Witnesses, mostly male, were threatened and a number, all female, spoke directly with the attackers before the armed response police arrived.
There was an opportunity to attack others but they chose not to.
One women walked straight through the scene with her shopping trolley.
Let's chain all knives to large butchers blocks, or we could just make them all blunt, or all cleavers will require registration.
Personally I would like that these two savages have received life changing injuries. Basic medical care to be provided to conserve life followed by a life sentence, solitary confinement, spent in conditions comparable to those experienced by prisoners in Afghan jails.
As we live in a civilised society I'm sure they will receive far more than this.
