Me, too. I grew up in the day when GI Joe was 12 inches tall.

I was actually quite attached to my sea monkeys. I used to spend hours watching them swim around :D I was sad when I accidentally spilled all of them inside the family minivan :(

Yep, they grew to 1/4 of an inch long. I'm sure if they had lived longer I would have figured out how to breed them.

I never bought them so I can't speak from personal, but you are the first person I've heard from to report success with them.

I grew up when they were shorter and more fictionalized. Pew pew laser guns instead of pow pow lead shooters (that's ok though).

I loved the Lite Brite my friend had.The big draw back is they didn't give you enough colored pegs.We showed early geek tendencies,we liked to make different national flags on it.
Someone gave me an Easy Bake oven but then the folks wouldn't never let me use it.I guess they thought it was a fire hazard. Its only a light bulb,no big deal.
I could never see the point in Raggedy Ann and Andy.

My wife tells me she had gotten one of those Easy Bake Ovens for Christmas as a child - - only to have her dad claim it was too dangerous. He took it back, but instead of giving her the money, he got himself beer. That's still a very bad Christmas memory that brings up bad feelings for her to this day.

She still can become depressed thinking about it, even after all these years.

Just about any toy that required halfway-decent physical coordination and balance to use (unless it was a pool toy), Like the pogo stick I got for Christmas when I was really young. And skipping rope. I could only jump when someone else was twirling it. Skate boards, almost any sports-related toy, and BICYCLES!! ! :pale:

My favorite kinds of toys have always been cuddly dolls or stuffed animals to sleep with and small plastic dolls and figures that I could take anywhere. Both of them satisfied my need for role-playing back when I was pretty clueless about socializing and being friends with real people. And if you gave me some drawing paper and a pen I'd be entertained for hours just drawing cartoons and pictures. I have only recently learned how to make something other than stairs on an Etch-a-Sketch. I once got a Magna-Doodle for my birthday and had tons of enjoyment drawing stuff on it. :)

I've had a Furby once, and it was terrible...

My parents got PO'd because it kept them up at midnight.
