McDonald firmly established the right to keep and bear arms within the home, which includes having a weapon in your hand while answering the door, and 'menacing' in the legal sense requires
intent to cause fear. Makes your barb kind of ironic.

Isn't the whole point of this thread that the police overstep their authority and use deadly force when it is not appropriate? In that light, how does the fact that the police are likely to overreact to a situation in any way support your mistaken view of the law?
