Homosexuality topic on TV news.

Everyone wants to live in the Scandinavian/Nordic countries. Sadly only 26 million people live there and the other 7 billion have to live in "lesser" countries.
The climate isn't that bad compared to their latitude because of the tempering effect of the Atlantic Ocean, especially the south/west part of Scandinavia.

What I don't understand: if the Nordic countries are doing so well on nearly every type of measurement, why are other countries not copying their policies and adapt them to their own countries? It's better to steal a good idea than to think up a bad idea by yourself.

I just found this sentence on wikipedia on the Nordic countries article: "The Nordic countries are top performers in numerous metrics of national performance, including education, economic competitiveness, civil liberties, quality of life, and human development."
I think we should start by teaching our children Norse and Finnish in school :viking:

They are not accepting many immigrants, I think Sweden is an exception now because they have allowed in a lot of refugees from Syria and Iraq (compared to their population size, not compared to the total number of refugees which is in the millions).

in my experience, gay people more often than not identify themselves based heavily on their sexuality. heterosexual people usually seem not to pay any mind to what their sexuality is when they interact with others.
gay people often seem to want to publicly announce their gayness with either outright declarations or demonstrations via kissing each other and fondling and stuff on the street.

there is a gay bar in paddington in sydney where i am told that people have to prove they are gay by acts of indecency like tongue kissing other men before they can get through the door. if it is so natural, then why do they make such a fuss about it?

on TV lately, i have noticed not only an avalanche of gay character inclusions into the cast, but i also now see shows that where every major character in them is gay (and announcedly so) and the only non gay cast members are cast as idiots who are brainless bigots.

i never saw movies or shows like with elvis presley prancing on the hawaiian sands singing about how he likes only women, but the theme of many gay dominated shows is usually to highlight that they are gay and the plot is secondary.

but as with most things i consider in a social sphere, i am likely to be wrong.

I think that's because gays had been forced to hide who they were for so long that they feel they have a need to express who they are, even if it seems over the top to others at times.

I think that i'm gay with not ok i like titties too :mrgreen: but i think im more homo than hetero.

And stop tell me that gay is ok, because it's not :-(

I feel like a perv :-(

Self hatred is never a good thing, and can never end well. Still, you're entitled to feel about yourself anyway you like. But regardless, others have the right to express themselves and be who they are, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

churches are just fallible humans with feet of clay just like the rest of us.

My own church body is anti-gay, but my own conscience tells me that gays and other LGBT individuals have the right to live their lives, and are worthy of respect just the same as anyone else. I see gay rights as a civil rights and human rights issue.
