First: I was kinda joking. Like saying "Scott Peterson should marry Jodi Arias", or "Jon Binet Ramsey's parents should adopt the Menendez Brothers". Maybe it was a rather tasteless version of that kinda joke. But it was a joke.
Second:if you're going to make the mistake of taking a joke seriously then at least do it right by making a better analogy. The joke was to let Cosby get a taste of his own medicine. So if you know of a woman convicted of serial forcible rape (not just statutory rape of a single minor, but serial forcible rape) then name that person and ask "would you be for putting so-and-so into a cell with a convicted male rapist?". A woman shoplifter being allowed to be raped by a fellow inmate is not analogous to Cosby being allowed to be raped by Sandusky. She has to have somehow raped a series of other adult people to be analogous.
My major problem is that people too often toss off these "jokes" in such a way as that I'm pretty sure they're not joking, less 'wouldn't it be funny/ironic if the same type of crime befell this person?', more 'I hope they get put in a cell with bubba', which to me sounds like they think rape is an appropriate punishment in some cases. I have a moral absolute position against rape in all cases, so I go out of my way to point out what people are actually saying when they make comments like that; yours is I believe the 3rd this week.
Just to clarify, I'm not against rape jokes per se, funny is funny, nor do I take the social justice argument that joking about something normalizes it, what I'm against is rape cheerleading or punitive rape advocacy, which I felt like you veered into with that comment.
