Just an update on Trump's recent moves on the environment

There has been a massive backlash against Trump's environmental policies
Overnight, Trump signed an executive order to scrap Obama-era climate change regulations he says are hindering oil drillers and coal miners.
The new executive order seeks to suspend, rescind or flag for review more than a half-dozen measures in an effort to boost domestic energy production in the form of fossil fuels.

Gina McCarthy, former EPA administrator under the Obama administration, told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that President Trump’s executive order on climate “sends a horrible signal”.
Ms McCarthy said 70 per cent of Americans had accepted climate change is “happening”.
Democrat congressman Jim McGovern described Trump as a “danger to our planet and threat to our culture”.

70 percent of those polled believe in it. I believe in it up to a certain point. But not to the extent of the liberal left. And that's always a problem when people won't consider that something might not be what they're being told. I've always said when it comes to research, when all kinds of government grants are being handed out, realize these people have to come up with data to stay in business.

Climate changes. All sides are agreed on that. The questions are whether it is manmade, to what degree, and how permanently.

I have been to oil fields and refineries and, in all honesty, cannot say I would want to live there. My downtown, where I used to go to elementary school, forever stunk of diesel fumes. It's a legitimate quality of life issue, not to defecate where you eat.

But, mankind has come to fixed areas, on the map, to use resources, because there was a geological feature, there -- near the surface. Generally along the lines of faults, fumaroles, tar pits, and volcanism.

We, as disempowered consumers, are accused of oil spills, in places where asphalt has always floated ashore, was used by primitives, and is part of the ecology. You are accused of out-gassing, where some fissure or hole in the ground has already existed, since times immemorial.

You are distilling a natural material, not that it has to be messy and irresponsible.

I don't think that intelligent, productive people want to drive gross polluting "clunkers," or that most can justify their own participation in the economy.

That's what I would call most "liberals": "to the left." They are far from being "Leftists"--That sobriquet is reserved for Socialists/Communists.

Just like most "conservatives" are "to the right," yet not "Rightists"--that sobriquet is reserved for true dictators like Mussolini.

It would probalbly be safer to just call them "liberals" and "conservatives."

Or any gray area in between. I'm not a complete "liberal." I have some "conservative" opinions.

Considering the insane conspiracy theories broadcasted by supposedly mainstream CNN or MSNBC, I think it's pretty laughable to whine about Breitbart. There is a fake news problem and it's with the old guard of the MSM who carried water for the deep state and every other monied interest.

Well, how many trees do you want or need, for personal use, without any social obligations or confiscatory wealth redistribution, for which the leftists are so famous. Everyone deserves the same, right? How many cars do you want to buy, or how many oil wells can you drill, with your own money. We all must have high-tech living standards. They troll the neighborhoods with their clipboards.

Those small govt Republicans really, really, dislike Communist countries -- structured as democratic republics. They hate federal subsidies -- federal, referring to the republic or central govt.

Communists make religious shrines to their dictators. Republicans pray at the Lincoln monument and regularly confuse civics with religious piety.

Democrats, referring to the majority of the people, hate populism. How can that be.

Capitalists complain of Communism, when capital, as we know it, trickles-down from a state-owned, lending monopoly. It is the 5th Plank of Marx' Communist Manifesto.

Both sides of the discussion ultimately use the same methods, but with trivial differences, in their rationale. That might tell you that the narrative is being controlled. There are parameters, to appropriate discussion, along the lines of Hegel's dialectic. But, in the bigger picture, both sides of statism use the same methods. You toil for powerful frontmen, who will never personally lift a finger, to better your lives.

Don't support the people, who do these things, if you don't like them. It's a free country, right?
