What do you mean there was no other person? She said the music was too slow and unmotivating and the autisuc man agreed with her. The instructor heard him and called him stupid.

The situation arose when Ketan Aggarwal from Southall, West London, complained the music was too slow during a spin class he was attending, the Mirror reports.
Outraged, the gym-instructor ‘shouted’ at Ketan, yelling, ‘Don’t tell me how to do my job’ and disgracefully called him ‘stupid,’ in front of a class full of 30 people.
Emphasis, mine.Outraged, the gym-instructor ‘shouted’ at Ketan, yelling, ‘Don’t tell me how to do my job’ and disgracefully called him ‘stupid,’ in front of a class full of 30 people.
There was NO "she", anywhere in the article----even the instructor was male.

That isn't what The daily Mail said. I had to check the other thread to be sure I wasn't having false memories when I read it again and it said cyclist so there was another person. Oh well articles will report different details.

Good Heavens----HE was the cyclist!! From the other thread's article (copied and pasted):
"When an Indian-origin autistic man based in Britain was working out in his gym, his trainer insulted him in front of a group of 30 people.
Ketan Aggarwal is a 30-year-old man who was taking a spin class at Virgin Active..."
... AND, it wasn't even a Daily Mail article, on "the other thread"----it was written by TheBetterIndia.com----AND, the word "cyclist", was NOWHERE in the article.

Here's a slightly more complete article. I know it's the Daily Mail and they're not known for their truthfulness or for being non-partisan but it does contain a little more information including...
The Daily Mail article that liveandrew posted in his post I quoted above:

He was in a spin class when he agreed with a fellow cyclist the music was too slow - prompting the instructor to apparently yell 'don't tell me how to do my job'.

You're RIGHT----and, I apologize!! I had no idea there was a THIRD article----and, it was MUCH better:
Quote:
He was in a spin class when he agreed with a fellow cyclist the music was too slow - prompting the instructor to apparently yell 'don't tell me how to do my job'.
...
He said a female classmate mentioned the music was 'unmotiviating' and Mr Aggarwal agreed - apparently prompting fury from the instructor.
...
'Claimant believes this is disability related harassment as [the instructor] was aware of the previous incident [where Mr Aggarwal told staff he had autism]...'
IMO, this changes EVERYTHING----not only does this article say that the instructor KNEW of his Autism, but that he was just agreeing with someone else, and the instructor seemed to have singled him out. I say, now, that he had a case, and I commend him, for standing-up for himself!!
This is a good example of why it would be sooooo much better if people (more-than-one, in this case) didn't cross-post.
Again, I apologize----I get so sick-and-tired of people, on here, not reading, and thought you were doing the same.
