It basically boils down to this
Islam is a messianic religion. Most people who call themselves muslim try in public to demonstrate adherence to islam but choose to interpret the Quran (holy book) only in terms of a guide on how to live as it pertains to them (rather than external). The majority of muslims fall into this bracket and as with their ancestors who were likely coerced into conversion they only do what they think they must. This group don't hate western culture.

Then there are those who choose to i) read the Quran cover to cover and ii) follow the edict that every word must be obeyed then this group. These people are fundamentalists. Secondly there are those who have personal reasons fall into line with fundamentalist teachings and cherry pick what they are told about the west. It's this second group where terrorists are recruited and they do have unfavorable views of "unbelievers"

The Quran explicitly states fighting the unbeliever (through Jihad) is ordained for every muslim by Allah. So as with the messianic teachings of the prophet Mohammed the task for muslims is (ulimately) to overcome us non-believers.
How that is achieved is open to the individual muslim to interpret. As I said the vast majority of muslims are quietly minding their own business. But in any case the memo from the Mullahs is have big families. At current growth rates by 2050 it is now estimated that globally the number of muslims will become the largest single religion on earth and in the USA it will be the second biggest religion. In time they will eventually win.

Not me. I'll be long gone. And, if Americans are actually learning a second language, it will be a miracle. Most are barely literate in English to begin with.

By the way, most "Arabs" count as "White."
