Most cops seem okay when it's just one of them that you're dealing with, but as thier numbers increase they take on a wolf pack mentality.

Yep, I agree with all of this----especially the bit about "wolf pack", as I have see this, with my own eyes; sometimes, TWO, alone, aren't too bad----but, like you said, "as their numbers increase".....

Another thing that you said, that I agree-with----I can't remember if it was on THIS thread, or another one----but, you said that cops have to put-up-with alot of crap, everyday, from people in "da hood", and that it didn't matter if the cop(s) was/were the same race, as the perp, because that crap would be difficult for ANYBODY, to put-up-with, on a continual basis (those, obviously, weren't your exact words - but, I think I got the gist of it).

Anyway, I agree with that, cuz..... Something that some people, here, can't seem to wrap their head, around..... There's alot of people, here, who lump all NTs, together..... NTs have been making their life, miserable, all-of-their-lives----and, some people, here, even out-and-out HATE ALL NTs----and, I can, somewhat, relate / understand that; but, here's the part, that I DON'T understand.....

If these, particular, ASDers think people should understand where they're coming-from / why they dislike so many NTs (because NTs have been making their life miserable), then why can't THEY understand why some cops can have such a hard time, sometimes, putting-up-with people's crap, all-the-time? I don't get it.

It never ceases to amaze me, that people want understanding, for THEMSELVES----but, are not willing to give that SAME understanding, to OTHERS, no.1; and, no.2, the very same people who give them (the people wanting understanding) a pass because they know what it's like to put-up with the same crap, from the same people, everyday, are not willing to give that SAME pass to cops, who have to put-up with the same crap, from the same people, everyday. ???

I have issues with law enforce and the entire justice system that I could write pages about but we still need it to keep some sense of order. I'd hate to think what things would be like without it. We have and have had some naive people (to put it mildly) here who would throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Yep, I agree! I mean, having rules, right here, on this site, is a perfect example, IMO. I LIKE rules, cuz they tell me exactly what I'm 'sposed t'be doin'----BUT, that doesn't mean that, sometimes, I haven't wished there weren't, any. I also hate to think what it would be like, without the rules, here----like, can you imagine if everyone who wanted to, could tell anyone else, that they were "just too stupid to live"? LOL It wouldn't be pretty, I can imagine, THAT much!!

Yeah, that's DEFINITELY putting it, mildly!! LOL (wink)

Wouldn't bother me if someone said that to me. I'd most likely be amused and even come back with a better insult. I have this stix-n-stones way of handling verbal assault.
Just on WP alone I've had people tell me:
- I'm a moral degenerate for being a Christian
- they'd like to knife me through the eye
- they'd like to cut my throat
- they'd like to tie me to a tree and sodomize me with a corn cob and staple my eyelids open so I'd have to watch them destroy things I own. This one should get the blue ribbon. :D

These are just a few that come to mind. I'm sure I could come up with more. I thought all of them were hilarious, especially that last one with the corn cob and the staple gun. :lmao: :lmao:

If I've been told I'm "too stupid to live", and I may very well have been, it was seen as too insigificant to remember.
Of course I've dished out my fair share, too.

I'm more interested in real crimes that have real victims (e.g. murder, theft, actual assault, etc..).

I could mention names and provide quotes but that would be seen as an act of trollery.

Yeah, that's the way I feel about it, TOO----I need, only, to live-up-to MY standards, for myself!!

My favorite post to me, was: "Shouldn't you be off ironing your white robe and hood?"----I was ROFL (that was one of the times, I was thinking to myself, about that person: "OMG, you're just too stupid, to live")----and, IIRC, it was the same person as your "corn cob / staple gun", person (or, he repeated someone else's words - he has a tendency to do that; I've seen him, practically "copy and paste" something right off of Wikipedia, cuz he THOUGHT people would find him, smart / impressive LOL).

This person was WilliamWDelaney (SP?). He said that conservatives should be put in re-education camps. He also said that conservatives are poison and shouldn't be allowed around children. His rants were hilarious in an insane way and I really looked forward to reading them. He despised me with a passion.

I think it was one of his conservative or Raptor hating rants that got me laughing so hard at the Atlanta Airport that I was afraid TSA wouldn't allow me to board. I had to change planes there and while walking though the concourse I was reading one of his fiery rants on my iPhone and cracked up laughing. I couldn't control it and every time I thought I had it suppressed I'd bust out again. At the gate they had a TSA guy there checking everyone's ID as they boarded and I had to bite down on my tongue HARD to keep from laughing again just so I could get on the damn plane. As anal as TSA is, unexplained laughter could be grounds to keep someone from boarding for all I knew.

He's was just one but one of the better ones. I've had to pull over off the freeway a time or two just thinking about some of the off-the-wall rants I've read here, laughing so hard I was afraid I'd lose control of my car.

Some people get all butthurt and go totally snowflake over trolling and incivility like that but it amuses the hell out of me to read it. Even more so when it's aimed specifically at me. :D
I think it's at least as funny in real life.

The lieutenant seems to be the one at fault. It's all about ego boosting. Some of them love the sense of power they get from being able to arrest people.

On another note, I still want to know what Raptor's key opens! Must be a master key to escape from the corn cob scenario!

You wish...

How about the key to a castle in the air? :D

(you just need to add a foundation - something I read on a coaster)
