Yeah, they have ties to the Clintons. The whole thing is a farce.

There had been one agent on the investigation who had expressed Anti-Trump views, and he had been promptly fired once his emails were uncovered. All other accusations of being Pro-Clinton is just conspiracy theories spouted by Republican yes men, as well as those GOP crypto-fascists who are calling for a "purge" in the FB I and Justice Department (that's the sort of talk one would expect from Hitler and Stalin).

Gotta love conspiracy theories regarding conspiracy theories. But the attempt to get Trump out of office by any means possible is plainly obvious and has been going on since he was elected.

but if it distracts those Greedy Oligarchic Psychopaths sufficient to slow the pace of their destruction of this country, then all the better.

It's interesting to me because I have been watching a lot of historical documentaries lately about the monarchs of England and all the plots to put the "right person" on the throne.

But in this case, it seems to be a plot to put someone on the throne who's considered just as bad if not worse, than the person they're trying to remove.

you seem to be willfully missing the point- we resisters are not so stupid to think that 1] we can actually give that awful man and his awful minions the shove, and 2] we are not ignoring the even worse danger of that pill named pence-nez. what we are doing can be termed "asymmetric warfare" whose main purpose is to keep the enemy [greedy oligarchic pachyderms] off-balance, thus slowing the rate of damage that they do to the rest of us.
