I mentioned to a coworker who always wore a helmet when commuting to work on his motorcycle that "I guess that you're not one of those anti-helmet law kinda bikers". Was surprised when he replied "Oh I am totally against helmet laws too.". He went on to explain "get rid of helmet laws and all of the folks who are dumb enough to not wear helmets when riding motorcycles will get killed off, and it will eliminate the gene for stupidity in the human race!"

I guess that that's one way of looking at it.

Well if wearing helmets was not recommended then people new to motorcycles like younger people might end up being ignorant about the dangers of not wearing one. Wouldn't really be responsible of those responsible for giving motorcycle licences to skip the part about why you wear a helmet.

It aint about recommendation but about making it the law. I don't like seat belt laws but I do wear them for my own well-being.
If someone doesnt have enough in thier brain box to realized that motorcycle helmets are for their benefit then maybe it's best if we let them go ahead and smash thier skulls on whichever hard surface they collide with.

In one of his previous posts, he basically said that the East Timor Genocide was no big deal. He also implied that the "Not my President" protests were worse than the East Timor Genocide.

In other words, he's just being his usual self.

If no one ever tells them that or teaches them about head injuries that can result from impact at high speeds it might not occur to them. Why are you so eager for people to die in motorcycle accidents anyways? They are pretty horrific actually...ever seen one, or known anyone who's died that way or in any other sort of vehicular accident?

And in this thread he's outed himself as a eugenicist. And lets not forget the questions surrounding his involvement in the Kennedy and Lincoln assassinations.
Yes, something must be done about that terrible Raptor before he goes too far!

No, but I trained him to make those shots.
I supplied the derringer to John Wilkes Booth in 1865.
I was also the SS Einsatzgruppen Commander, Obersurmbanfuher Wolfgang Von Raptor, who directed the Babi Yar massacre in Kiev in 1941. Then later in 1968 as a platoon leader in the 20th Infantry Regiment I was responsible for the My Lai massacre in South Vietnam's Quang Ngai Province.
I've been directly involved in some of the most heinous acts of barbarism against humanity.
But don't take my word for it, just as DarthMetaKnight.

I think there was a Star Trek episode about you. Kirk is eventually going to beam your non-corporeal essence into empty space.

I made the first of those comments, so allow me to weigh in. It's simple edgy humor. I'll accept that you don't appreciate it, but don't take it seriously.

Hmmm.....I don't seem to recall that, but I was the commander of a Klingon Vor'cha-class attack cruiser responsible for the deaths of thousands of lptrsajtydian women and children.

No, it was an entire series called Highlander. Dude just kept showing up doing s**t throughout history.

Different, but wanna see a rather interesting movie that's sort of about a guy known as different people throughout history? Check out "The Man from Earth." It's got zero action, but it's highly captivating. It's litterally just a bunch of people sitting in a room listening to one guy tell a story - those are the entire visuals of the movie - but the story.. it's one hell of a story!

That movie was in fact a rewrite (or rather prequel) to the Star Trek episode "Requiem for Methuselah":

Well unless its a small child, a very impressible intellectually disabled teen/adult, an elderly person with dementia or otherwise has their reasoning skills compromised. Also adolecents/teens can be really stupid at times...even if they know better about something with the right conditions and encouragement they might take the risk...I don't think these are things that makes someone deserving of death. So yes while your typical adult with all their mental capacity probably wouldn't do it under any amount of pressure....not everyone is a typical adult with all their mental capacity intact.

Thus it is best not to encourage dangerous things like eating tide pods...I mean sure maybe tide pods are pretty obvious. But there was one going around that was a supposed 'DIY' of how you can grow your own crystals without buying a kit...it says to mix bleach and ammonia at some point and blow into it with a straw...so the person can ingest toxic gas and be injured or die. Sure a repsonsible adult should know mixing chemicals like that is a very bad idea....now lets say a little kid who isn't as aware sees it and thinks it would be a cool art project.

Probably best not to spread that kind of stuff around online.

This is still so "WTF?" to me. How can a teenager NOT stop and think for a minute that an exploding ball of soap won't likely do some serious damage to their insides? Like possibly caustic burns, bubbles/gas/bloating pressure that ruptures intestines.. W in The actual F goes through their minds making them think this is medically harmless?? Bizarre!
