I'm pretty certain American Jewish men whose ancestors came from Europe - who constitute most Jews in this country - are white males.

Many anti-Semites speak of a "Jewish Race."

Many Jews identify themselves as a separate "culture," rather than a separate "race."

The State of Israel is a Jewish nation----but Israel is not Judaism.

First, there are different WHITE ethnic groups. Ethnic Swedes vs. ethnic Scots, let's say. Most would agree both groups are white, but two different ethnic groups. There could very well be an ethnic component to white Jews.

And, on a side note:
Not all Jews are Ashkenazi or Sephardic. The Kaifeng Jews, for instance, wouldn't be considered white/Western, but they certainly self-identify as Jewish (even if not openly b/c it's dangerous to do so in Red China).

Perhaps sometimes. But Martin Luther King, Jr. and James Earl Ray were both Southern American Protestants who spoke English. Is it accurate to describe them as the same race?
