Yes, the Kurds have been jerked around by the US time and time again to the point that I don't understand why they stick with us, except that we're their only allies. My country does owe them something for their loyalty. I'd think someone like yourself who is so indignant about the plight of the Palestinians would sympathize with another people who are stateless and victimized.


The Kurds aren't like the Palestinians at all. Palestinians don't want an ethno state. The best thing the US can do is leave the whole region alone. The Kurds aren't stateless, they are welcome in Syria and Iraq they just can't cut up part of both countries for their ethno state.


The Kurds have been bullied by their Arab and Turkish neighbors since forever, as they are by ethnicity and language neither Arab or Turkish. The have been treated as second class citizens in every country where they reside, which means they are not wanted. Then there's the matter of how many Kurds have adopted western style culture, which also makes them a pariah in that part of the world.
The Palestinians don't want an ethno state? I highly doubt Israeli Jews would be welcome to live among them. In fact, the only people welcome would be Arabic speaking Muslims, and even then, that would probably be restricted to ethnic Palestinians.


They refuse to assimilate. They are the problem, they aren't some poor delicate flowers they are thugs for the most part. They will have to assimilate like everyone else has in Syria and forget about their Israel supported ethno state. Would you support African Americans taking up a part of the US for their own state? Jews, Muslims and Christians got on fairly well in Palestine before the Zionist movement. You're talking tripe. Bethlehem is in Palestine, the area is mostly populated with Palestinian Christians and it is the Israelis who are persecuting them. Israel bombed Syria on Christmas day!! ! That's how much they care about Christianity.


They aren't thugs, they are an ancient population with their own proud traditions and language who have lived on their land for time immemorial. So no, it's not like South Americans coming to America to settle my country.
As the Kurds have adopted much western culture, I'd rather not see them assimilate.
What do Christian Palestinians have to do with the Kurds and Syria?

See again this is the problem, you refuse to read what people write. I said African Americans.
Jeeesh :roll: you really think the millions of the third world flooding into the US are going to bring 'Western culture'. You literally contradict yourself with every post you make. At least be consistent.
Can you not separate two different topics? It's obvious you didn't realise there were Palestinian Christians.

Perhaps they would assimilate if they weren't treated like sh*t.
African Americans have been given the rights they were promised in the constitution. Not to the fullest degree that they deserve, but much more than they had ever had since Reconstruction. The Kurds were never given equal rights in the countries in which they reside, and that is the difference.
Those immigrants coming to America will one day accept American take on western culture, as immigrants always have.
As the Kurds have absorbed quite a bit of our culture through diffusion, I'd rather not have them lose it to assimilation.
Of course I know many Palestinians are Christians. If anything, they have a stronger link to the land than do many of the Muslims who were in part immigrants to the region following Jewish settlements.

Na. They wouldn't have half the trouble if the US and Israel stopped using them or the US hadn't armed the Turks or Iraq to massacre them.
Blah blah. Nope, the third world doesn't get bought up it just brings the first world down. You obviously don't care about Western culture after all. Syria was very Westernized before the US and Co supported Jihadists to destroy the country. Now the US are leaving Al Qaeda have surrendered :lol:

The Kurds are treated like crap by the ethnic majorities who run the countries where they live, which is why they have taken up arms. Would you accept that kind of life?

A lot of the Kurds in Syria crowing for their state have come from Turkey and Iraq. Why don't you support Palestinians taking up arms against Israel? Something they have far more right to do than Kurds.

All the hysteria is now falling apart. Syria and Russia are now protecting the Kurds from Turkey. The Kurds will have to do a deal with Damascus and move forward. They have a chance to work towards peace and stability now the US has gone which is in the interests of both sides.

Israel doesnt want Palestinians in their ethno state. Palestinians had their homes and their country stolen from a bunch of murderous foreign colonists. There's no chance of a Two State Solution. Apartheid South Africa fell, so will the Zionist regime.
