Um, I think the United Nations Human Rights Commission would argue with you on this point.

Firstly, who cares what they think?

Secondly, they were recently led by Saudi Arabia. That clearly makes them a joke by "human rights" standards.

It has nothing to do with political ideology but probably has something to do with not having much experience with other people or just seeing the world through “rose colored glasses”.

We are people, not robots built on an assembly line. We all have different strenghts and weaknesses.

Us being like programmed robots seems to be the goal of liberalism though. What we think, do and eat must be put under control.

I have never met anyone in real life that said, "I am a liberal" or "I am a conservative".

It's weird to be reduced to a label.

I see people online say that about themselves all the time in real life. Even my ex boyfriend said he was very conservative and then after that I started to meet others like him and they were all said they were conservative. So I learned they all have closed minded views and are very judgmental. They tend to not like change. It can't be a coincidence. My ex was very closed minded and bigoted and so judgmental and he said it was because he was very conservative. Of course he didn't see himself as the other three things but conservative.

Not only the religious. There are economic incentives to programming people to think like robots.

the vibe i get is that most people from didferent races barely get by .. it ranges from genuinely non-judgemental and sweet and could talk about everything on mind (probably like less than 12% of popuplation) to a distanced niceness a friendly exchange of how things went today the weather maybe some basic politics etc. (25% could be liberal could be conservative) to completely no emotions on face or interactions or whatsoever (25% could be liberals ciuld be conservativez) to casual offense jokes (25% could be liberals could be cobservatives) to really close minded ppl (12%).. feminism and lgbt rights will see more acceptance globally but race relationships is so intense within america or between different countries its unbearable. Theres an insatiable urge for liberals to divide the populave into liberal ideals (regardless of gender, race, sexual orietatiin , disability etc.. ) vs everything else, when the reality is women can be homophobic, colored and whites all can judge, gays can be racists, and no one cares about disabled, regardless of their political afflitiation.. a multi-dimensional matrix with very complex interaction .

I don't see that as being the same as wanting to regulate most every aspect of a person's life.

As for the OP's initial question, it certainly goes a long way to making you liberal.

Do liberals want to regulate every aspect of a person's life?

It honestly seems that way. What individual people say, think, do and eat are all aspects it wants to reform. And the earth is doomed in short order if we don't comply. I find it to actually be scary. And I don't scare easily.

It's the right that wants to dictate who you can love, what sexual acts you can and can't perform in the privacy of your own home, and even which bathroom you can use.

So the left responds by dictating back and in a far more encompassing way with impending apocalypse scare tactics. I think the left just wants its version of domination.
