At least understand that when many of your fellow Americans see a MAGA hat, they see… support for a man initiating policies that focus on harming minorities at an alarming rate.
Now that article is much more reasonable. But as it says, the Trump hat means different things to different people. Far better to give the benefit of the doubt than to assume the worst. If you really want to know why they're wearing the hat, just ask. Because you're showing support for something or someone doesn't mean that you support every single aspect of what you support.
