I broke my right wrist when I was 14. Within a few days or so, I could do everything with my left side that I was doing with my right side previous to me breaking my wrist.

I could even tie my shoes.....

People adjust. But I'm still glad that you're not letting your injury keep you down.

Wrist and elbow. Guess I'm coping, but admittedly not very well. Swearing a lot dressing myself.

Why do you think that? Your soft spot for autocrats? Or are Americans the only ones capable of atrocities?

i feel for ya :o so you must have pins and plates in your arm now. that takes a while to get used to. the PT range of motion exercises are VERY IMPORTANT and if you want to get your full arm function back, they are ESSENTIAL to follow without fail! to get through the pain and stiffness, i highly recommend a TENS unit. they are lifesavers and arm function savers.

Be skeptical. These "victims" usually turn up unharmed, and the reports come from sketchy sources that are nonetheless picked up uncritically around the world. Just one such individual turned up days after said accusation last week.

I'm not gonna make the case that NK is super great or anything, but there *is* a lot of bad info, and a lot of speculation that may or may not pan out.

I can't post a link since I'm new, but there's a report over at the CBS site about this trend posted 5 days ago.
