I remember most of them going after republicans who did blackface. They made similar excuses for that democrats governor. Let’s not forget it was democrats who started the blackface as it was democrats who were the kkk. Heck my states democrat governor in 60s was leader of kkk. It was democrats who burnt the cross every night on the hill in my city, not republicans. Republicans lived in my town with the black folks since the city was a sun down city FYI no blacks allowed at night.

Democrats can’t erase their history no matter how much they try.

Trudeau is on the record for saying that he did a stupid thing and has apologised for it. Really much ado about nothing.

If he should be held accountable it's his poor memory claiming he couldn't remember he did blackface on three occasions which is probably his attempt at hiding his embarrassment.

The ID thing is more about access than incompetence. In my state everyone gets a ballot mailed to them, you can mail it back, or drop it in a ballot box. You don't have to have a valid ID at the time you vote...so your ID's expired and you haven't been able to get a new one yet? you lost your ID and you haven't had money for a replacement yet?....No Problem in Colorado.

I am surprised people still believe Trump will leave office by any means other than election or health/death or the two term limit. He might very well be impeached but conviction in the Senate is not happening no matter what. If it has not happened already it is beyond my imagination to think of what it would take for the Republican senators to get over fear of their own party's voters.

Come to think of it I am not all that confident him losing an election or term limits will do it. The secret service and the military better fulfill their constitutional duties if he refuses to leave otherwise it is all over.
