I think you are barking up the wrong tree. You are going after politicians when the real problem is capitalism. Corporate dollars are going to corrupt any many in office as there is a conflict of interest when you hold public office and take donations from corporations. And before you say that politicians shouldn't accept donations then the only people running for office will be the mega-rich who can bankroll their own campaigns.

We have seen what happens when you have the mega-rich running for government - you get Ross Perot and his zero taxes (let the poor fend for themselves) and Trump. Nuff said.

Ok so the level of corporate ownership a politician has is on a spectrum. Democrats and left wing politicians are less in the pocket of political donors. Case in point...oil and coal industry give money predominantly to climate skeptic politicians in the republican party.


If that's the case, then explain to me why Obama had a worse record on the environment than his predecessor. Bush. Sorry, but the corporate takeover of the Democratic Party was pretty much complete by the. end of Bill Clinton's presidency. It's time for a complete bypass of the two criminal gangs posing as political parties. It gets tiresome just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic every four years.


Obama hardly has the bad environmental record that Trump has.


Obama has a very bad one. He presided over a record increase in oil production, plus he was very pro-fracking. Basically, he did nothing to address climate change.

I wonder why people are so anxious for Guatemala to move here if it's all that bad. Seems like it would be more compassionate to send them back.

Conveniently forget two of the champions of segregation Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond were republicans who were popular with white southern voters as late the early 1990s.

A large proportion of white Louisianan voters supported grand KKK wizard David Duke to be governor of Louisiana in 1991.

The south may have lost the civil war but with Jim Crow they certainly won the policy war

Meanwhile the democrats work on removing civil liberties continues. The kind of equality they seem to really be striving for is everyone under their boot.

Now we're seeing little kids as young as 5 years old being arrested as a result of their whole political correctness, zero tolerance, everything is a crime agenda.

Ten years ago I was on the same page as you are now. But once I started paying attention to what was going on in government, rather than listening to corporate journalists and political pundants, I began to see there is no hope as long as we just keep playing the game we've been brainwashed into playing.
