Women given death threats over playing frisbee
The law in her state is that it's legal for women to be topless wherever men are allowed to be topless. Period.
She was well within her rights, and she doesn't deserve threats.

The woman was threatened in some fashion; but we don't know the content of the threat.
To say that there were "death threats" is really not accurate, I don't believe. They would have been specified as such, most likely, had they occurred.
To threaten somebody for this is beyond ridiculous.

Well, of course! Those are non-certified and illicitly distributed boobs. Bootleg boobies are bad for the economy. Or something.

Obviously I read the article Fnord, because I said that I did not see anywhere in it that anyone made a death treat. cyberdad has a flair for hyperbole, so of course he made that part up. Apearently, as I said before, "liberal scum" was the worst thing she had to report being said to her.
There's no way to know that since the article did not elaborate. Maybe there wasn't anything worth elaborating on.
You just proved my point. People pay money to look at bare breasts because they are erotic, the same as a penis and a vagina.
Like I said....a threat is a threat. And any nondeath threat, to me, is just about equal to a death threat.
It would have been nice if the article mentioned some content of the "threats."
But it would be inaccurate to put "death threats" into the title of a thread if there were none.

Exposed female breasts are an erotic body part the same as a penis and a vagina. That's why those three things are covered up at most beaches. I mean I guess. I can't think of another reason.
What about 13-16 year old girls being out in front of their house playing topless? Is there anything wrong with that?
Girls here do it in their yards, gardens and balconies. We don't have that kind of lawn without a fence right next to the street around these parts, but neighbours and sometimes passersby can see them. Since it's so common, I've never seen anybody being a dick about it, but that's just my personal experience.
As I said, for me it's irrelevant what people find erotic or maybe immoral, offensive or whatever, as long as the law is on her side she can do what she wants and people will have to learn to deal with it.
And just as a note regarding your other post: you'd be surprised what kind of thing people find erotic or arousing and it's not just a handful of "weirdos": it's not by far as simple as penis, vaginas, boobs.

I am of the opinion that it's "only fair" that a woman should be able to go topless where men go topless.
I feel like the woman was in her home when she was playing frisbee topless---and that it was none of the neighbor's business.
I might get turned on by a woman who is topless---but I am certainly able to control myself. If the desire is overwhelming (which it probably won't be, in actuality), I can just duck into a bathroom. If I expressed my desire in any other way, it would be improper. If I accosted the woman, I would be arrested, and deservedly so.
Please note that I've seen plenty of topless women....and I've never had to even duck into a bathroom.

Will Colorado also allow bare breasts to be displayed during prime time TV? America is quite prudish in that respect.
20-dollar overhead and a 2-drink minimum, how familiar are you with these clubs Fnord?
One is left to assume that this law only affects females over the age of 18 or perhaps 21?

Why would I find that surprising? However womens breasts, penises and vaginas are what get covered up. There's obviously a reason for that. I think it's silly to pretend otherwise.
I don't advocate that people go around nude, by the way....
There is, definitely, a prudish aspect within myself.
I was once in a "sports club" in the Netherlands. I wanted to go to the sauna, and go in a bathing suit----but it was required that I be nude. So I had to go in nude. I didn't feel all that great about it.
But the woman got her money, and deservedly so.

That's what I am wondering. If someone posted a picture of a topless underage girl on public media, they would get arrested for it. Or is that supposed to be okay now?
As for covering up the genital-anal area, there may be some issues of sanitation involved (i.e., "skid-marks", et cetera).
