Hilarious.

All the bitching about how unnecessary and ridiculous a space force would be, and now bitching about not enough initial money being sunk into it. This why I disregard a lot of the complaints I hear about Trump.

We are not bitching, we are talking about real numbers Ezra. If this were meant to be anything more than a petty distraction from the impeachment, there would be rocket science involved instead of just SigInt for the most part.

Very amusing, but the space force will be a Mission Control type setting.

We are dependent on satellites. That's what the Sapce Force is there to protect. The technology and hardware for that already exists.

In the beginning a large amount of funding is not required. It will grow over time. In the beginning visionaries define mission, then planning and proposals are created. Those budgetary proposals are organized and prioritized and feed into Congress for approval and for funding. As funding is approved contracts are developed. Eventually a few years down the road with a well articulated mission defined, organizations are staffed, contracts are let, training is formulated, the real mission is underway.

Exactly. I doubt the US Air Force started cranking out MiGs right away..
