Louisiana pastor defies large gathering ban

This appears to be becoming a fairly widespread practice. I ran a Google search and came up with the two churches already mentioned, a Jacksonville FL church, a Maryland church and two St Louis churches all having to be closed by the police.

Most people seem to understand, but as I said above, if they want to have a large gathering of a few hundred or thousand people, make it so they are sure to bring enough food and medicine to be locked in the church for 21 days where they can only worship and are not allowed to leave for any reason what so ever.
The problem with these religious folk is they think god will prevent them spreading the disease...
I thank G^D that the pastor at my church is married to a medical practitioner, and she was able to communicate to him the full extent of the danger.  Our services for the last month have been put together from videos that were made at the homes of each celebrant (i.e., pastors, readers, musicians, et cetera) -- they may be a bit choppy and the quality varies, but at least I get to attend church in my pajamas while sitting in my recliner, and the pastor cannot see whether I am awake, asleep, or absent.

Wouldn't live-streaming mass to parishioners homes be possible? would love to see a pastor preach from the pulpit and then rush off to play the church organ while his wife holds the video camera

Sadly my parent's old church was already quite empty with about 4-5 parishioners on average.
