I’m doing all right, thanks, Mr. Wren.

How have you been?

Just surviving the toilet paper apocalypse so far. Evertime I go in public I have been noticing minute changes to the public psyche. (little more aggressive and panicked)

Counting things is good. So long as we know what we're counting.

Anyone seen a year-over-year daily chart of all-cause US mortality? That's one I'd like to see.

I figured that was the case. "He had six bullet holes in his head, but since he tested positive for the virus, that's what we are listing as the cause of death". Something quite dodgy is going on needless to say.

They have to fudge the numbers to try making their over exaggerated model predictions come closer to the mark.

These are the daily Massachusetts numbers: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/archi ... sachusetts

The first thing that stands out is nearly all the deaths being reported are people over 70, and most over 80, and most have pre-existing conditions. The small number of younger fatalities often have pre-existing conditions also or are listed as "unknown" in that respect.

Same with New York.

But still too many deaths among people who wouldn’t have died, otherwise.

Could be most of them were close to being on their way out anyways. I can see special precautions taken with elderly people who are ill and close to death. But I can't see shutting down the world because people are dying a week sooner than they would have.

It could be a week sooner. It could be years sooner.....depends on the individual case.

Do you think I like being on lockdown? Hell no! I can’t stand it!

The latest trends indicate that California's CoViD-19 crisis will "peak" on or near the 17th of April.  After that, predictions are that there will be a steady decline in new cases (and deaths) until September.

I just hope they're correct.
