Yeah even a few parents on Twitter were freaking out about it too. "How will my sweet precious angel go to bed now, she always needs to watch her favorite series on youtube." I think parents do coddle their kids too much, I had no problem telling my son "Stop griping about it or we take away the game systems and turning off the PS3 and the TV."
"How about "Youtube isn't working tonight, they are having problems with it tonight, I can read you a story instead" or "I can turn on some music for you instead" or "Hey let's find you something to watch on Netfliex/Hulu/TV." And also stop telling her to quit whining about youtube or she goes to bed without anything. I would say this as the last resort after the kid has shot down every suggestion.
Oh and someone on there said they had anxiety and they must have youtube to relax.
I mean seriously, I knew this would get resolved. Websites always get it resolved when an issue occurs. There was also a Karen demanding a free month over a few hours of inconvenience of no youtube just because she pays $80/month for youtube subscriptions.
