There was another one called "Reefer Madness" (1936) that portrayed marijuana as a gateway drug to abject sociopathy and depraved promiscuity.  It would not surprise me to find out that the two movies were made and/or financed by the same people.

I always thought paedophiles had sort of psychopath tendancies, as most people in their right minds don't have the inclination to have sex with children.

I once knew this guy who was very intelligent but was a true psychopath and also a paedophile, as he'd been found out to have lured little girls as young as 4 into his garage and sexually abuse them.

Pedophilia is a sexual attraction to children. Only 20% of them offend and most child sex abusers are not pedophiles.

But "offend" is a subjective term because what do they mean by it and what counts as offending? Is looking at child porn count, fiction or just dolls, what about looking at normal photos of kids and thinking sexual thoughts? What about going to playgrounds and checking kids out but not acting on it?

Borderline pedophilia is a thing where a pedophile finds ways to relieve their urges but do so that isn't illegal but would still be considered wrong. Does this still count as offend?

Or do they just mean child porn and sexual acts on kids?

I know for a fact when someone gets caught with child porn, they are forced to take a class about it to understand why child porn is harmful and how it hurts kids even after the act has been done in the video. I call it rehabilitation.
