Same. I'm glad the time won't change anymore, but REALLY? Now we are always going to be an hour off from each of the same standard time zones used by Central and South America, while still being off from Canada and Mexico half of the year.

The subtropical & tropical states never benefitted from part-year or whole-year DST in the first place. Daylight hours don't change enough below 30 degrees latitude to justify it.

Waking up in the dark in winter is would be caused by year round Daylight Savings time and the effects would be more pronounced in the north then they would be in the south.
