Sure, I know what if feels like to be conned. I feel it every time I'm told that the unregulated market will benefit us all. The previous President of my country, who had been a notorious con man in the business world, tried gaslighting the American people in his effort to become a strongman like his idols Putin and Kim. He pissed off some of his followers with that.
I just thought I might remind you of that.

Trump was a Johnny-come-lately for vaccine advocacy. He had originally called it a Democrat hoax/exaggeration, denied there was a deficit of medical supplies, had hampered and defamed actual experts, and had promoted specious snake-oil cures. The fact that he had "warp sped" the vaccine was very late when he found he couldn't just ignore the virus and hope that not believing in it would make it go away.

I'm not a fan of Hitler Trump, but even Hitler did some good things at some point. :mrgreen:
