it's curious, there are hundreds of photos of bigfoot but to my knowledge this is the first photo of a skinwalker.

And it's just as shoddy as all the bigfoot and ufo photos. Seems all of these things have the power to turn a camera into a potato.

To be fair the US navy film of UFOs indicates they fly particularly quick so the average mobile phone camera shutter speed isn't equipped to capture moving objects. There's also the issue of light/focus.

Bigfoot is notoriously shy of cameras. They often stare down hikers and farmers in a challenging manner but the moment they see an iPhone they phase out into another dimension.

That’s a person. I have little doubt of that.

That's what we are angling toward,...but what's he/she/they doing out there at 1am prowling around the zoo in the dark in a skinwalker suit?

Might not be a skin walker suit at all, but rather just a distorted infrared image.

Pareidolia could also be playing a part.

Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon of seeing things that aren't there. For example, if you recognise faces in objects, such as a face burned into your toast, this is pareidolia. It is a type of apophenia, which is the perception of connections in unrelated things.

I am going with that being a drunken furry, dressed up as chipmunk.

Yeah I mentioned seeing shapes in a cloud before. I am wondering if it's a guy with a bomber jacket pulled over his head? that could explain the ears but not the snout.

The "snout" was probably caused by the pattern of the chain link fence he/she/it was behind. Infrared images are almost like a negative. If the image had been taken in daylight I'm sure it would've looked a lot different.

Skinwalkers aren't known to be daywalkers

Why a skinwalker instead of a leprechaun or the tooth fairy? Maybe there's one hiding in your closet or under your bed. Why hasn't an elf or gnome been consulted about this yet?

It's just impressive how much it looks/acts like a skinwalker would.

It's also impressive that a Navajo myth is walking around in Amarillo, TX. Kinda like the Loch Ness Monster being spotted in Lake Geneva.
