I honestly don't think they're trying to score, they pass up on so many opportunities.

Starmer was out there quoting Thatcher lately lol. He's not real opposition, he's a little sock-puppet.

^ I hope Starmer has an accident , not a bad one , just one that makes him stand down and let Angela Rayner take the reins.

Maybe a nice little political accident like when Ed Milliband ate that sandwich weirdly and nobody could picture him as leader anymore.

Then again I fear we're far beyond the times where gaffs and scandals could take a politician down. They're pretty much unresignable these days.

If only David had won instead of Ed...

I'd prefer Angela Rayner to Starmer as well.

That's the one

On 5 June 2015...

The Electoral Commission, which should be independent and unbiased, is now under the control of the government! That should never happen in a democracy.

I think you're right. They've had so many open goals haven't they, and not even tried.

haha oh yes. What a horrific mistake to make, eating a sandwich wrongly. How could he ever lead a party again? (sarcasm)

You're right. The number of gaffs, scandals and actual crimes our government have done in the last few years with no effect on their jobs has made them untouchable

I can't see any reason for voting for any of the established parties or the 'independent' alternatives these days. I couldn't vote anyway today because of the photo identification requirement.

^^Here is an illustration of how disillusioned British people have become, and how the photo ID requirement has disenfranchised them.

What we should have is Proportional Representation, like civilised countries have.
