I never said it's bad to be cautious. But in terms of intellectual curiosity, if there's a door presenting itself to be opened I'm not going to wait for somebody else to open it for me.

Valid evidence really isn't much to ask here, especially if they are coming to Earth as often as people claim.

Somebody else would need to open the door for you unless you observe/experience an alien sighting yourself.

There are plenty of things people can be intellectually curious about besides aliens. Just because someone is underwhelmed by the current "evidence" regarding aliens doesn't make them intellectually incurious or unadventurous as a whole. :|

It makes you an intelligent and reasonable person who does not believe something just because someone says it is true.

Thanks!

BTW truth is subjective....you of all people should now that :D

Truth isn't subjective as the word is used here. Something is either real or it's not.

Philosophical truths are a different kettle of fish.

You ought to start practicing what you preach then. Be open minded AND skeptical.

I've disclosed on numerous occasions I am an experiencer. I have first hand had regular paranormal experiences that are quite real involving orb UFOs between the ages of 7-10, The experiences only stopped when we moved house.

Evolution is complex, but it's still true. People say that essential oils cure cancer. That's untrue.

In the context of this conversation, Aliens are either behind (some) UFOs or they aren't.

I have never sought to quantify the volume but as I mentioned to naturalplastic that as with crop circles, the majority of UFOs sightings have earthly explanations. Even General Samford in Project Blue Book said most UFOs can be explained. But even he came up with this magic 5% that can't be explained.

The current government interest is also to do with this 5% (your some UFOs).

Are they alien? I don't know (and that is what I tell my students)
Are they categorically not alien (Again I don't know and if skeptics are honest they also do not know)

I think you are being a bit dishonest here since you've repeatedly stated and implied that you think aliens are behind sightings over the years. People tell their students any number of things, though. That's true.

My stance, as with anything, is disbelief until sufficient evidence has been provided. It keeps me from believing in ghosts, demons, and invisible, pink dragons. I hope I'm wrong about the invisible, pink dragons, but so far, alas...

Not true at all. You are deliberately putting words into my mouth. I am interested in reports of UFOs and aliens (including the abduction phenomena) but nowhere have I said I am a "true believer"

Here's a challenge for you. Please find a post where i have said there is unequivocal proof what I post is "alien"...

I never said that you said there was unequivocal proof in relation to aliens. :|

You tend to mostly strongly imply, making your position clear.

Just to establish a few facts
1. The police witnessed the object crash in the vicinity
2. The owners of the house called 911 barely a few minutes after the crash saying they could see 8 foot aliens with big eyes
3. The police verified they saw something crash in the back of the house

Subsequently no evidence was found in the backyard when the police searched the backyard, I assume the home owners didn't keep eyes on the beings.

I posit the aliens got back in the ship and took off before the cops could ID them. Perhaps they have a warp drive that can phase the ship into another dimension?

The only problem is why there were no marks in the backyard to show evidence they were there?
Another one for the X-files

That video only shows one but its dancing around in the sky the same way as those things I saw, but I didn't ever see any actual aliens in relation to it. So still maybe some kind of drone, but still an interesting phenomenon.

The 911 audio is quite convincing. The caller has no reason to be pranking b911 and calling the police to their home. My only regret is the home owners didn't think to film the aliens on their phones?

That's a matter of interpretation, I posit I am no more implying aliens than those scientists who advocate investigating this phenomena.

Fnord calls them "raving lunatics" despite the fact they are top of their field restively in astronomy astrophysics or in the case of Stanford Prof Nolan microbiology.

Maybe that’s what you think, but it’s not the impression you are giving other people.

Since you insist on being right I'm waiting for your evidence?

I’ve already provided some above.

You are free to create these threads, but you should be prepared for the pushback you typically receive from rational posters.
