It's more than a bit funny. The comedy far outweighs the tragedy. It wouldn't be so funny if it had not actually happened to a real person.

Lots of schadenfreude here apparently.
Personally I kinda feel bad for the guy, not only can he not "get a girl," he did't even go to a prostitute. Plus then his humilitation is shared world-wide via the Net. I suspect he must have some mental problems and am glad hes o.k.

Schadenfreude is finding pleasure from the misfortune of someone else, for those of you who were wondering.

What is there to understand? The dude was horny, and people do really stupid things when they're horny. He needed a way to relieve himself, and the park bench looked like the best option at hand (plus he probably got some kind of thrill from doing it in a public place.) Was it foolish? Yes. But you guys are making a big deal out of this, and I suspect that some of you are being hypocritical.
