I find this kid's advice to be refreshing in its contrast to the "nice guys finish last / girls love jerks" jargon that proliferates everywhere lately (not good for girls who actually do like nice guys).

He's encouraging boys to act like traditional gentlemen - respect your elders, be courteous, take care of your appearance, take the time to talk to a variety of girls even if they're plain-looking, and learn how to pick yourself up and move on when things don't go your way.

I wish all guys learned to think that way at a young age, or at least grew to think that way as adults.

^^ I am not saying that these advices aren't good . You are not getting it at all: a kid at this age can't have the enough amount of experience in order to reach that level of wisdom! The whole thing is a hoax.

And why you didn't comment about "fact of life" , "life is hard" , "boys like magnets and girls like metal" and "high maintenance" .Can't you see anything creep about all this?

the kid doesn't sound sexist to me, he sounds like a male talking about females LePetitPrince and from what i know the majority of 'attractive' girls i've met are the most flawed because all they care about are their looks so they forget about personality.

a guy's like a magnet and a girl's like the metal, sexist? hell no!
if a guy's confident girls will flock towards him the same as if a girl's attractive to certain guys those certain guys will flock to her.

this kid is just talking from a guys perspective/point of view, if a girl said the same would you consider it sexist?

i swear anti-sexists are the most sexist people.

Exactly.

And at which age you realized that?

You learned that at which age?

From a general guy perspective , exactly , not from a kid perspective.

as there's no god or hell i guess i don't need to worry.

i learnt the whole 'beauty or personality' thing at around six years old, at which point i also realised the majority of those that are wealthy are also snobby, i knew several girls who were either attractive or rich and all of them were b*tches because they had something everyone wanted and thought they were better because of it.

i learnt the flocking towards etc at the same sort of age, as soon as i started school. that's why girls of all ages focked towards me, not because i was cool or confident, but because i was eccentric and didn''t realise the social view on confidence and so i'm guessing the girls saw that as being confident :?

"From a general guy perspective , exactly , not from a kid perspective."
does that mean children are transgender until they mature?
i see adverts and programs claiming boys think girls have 'cooties' or fleas and find it offensive, i never thought like that and no guys i know thought that either.

mocking me only shows you to be more immature, i'm giving my point of view and that's it.

i look back on my life all the time and see things from many different perspectives as i've had to to survive, back then i thought everyone was mocking me but now i realise i was wrong. i spoke to a girl who i hadn't seen in eight or so years and she remembered me as a kid everyone loved at primary school, i thought everyone thought i was a freak but it turned out after all these years they thought i was great.

what you need to understand is i have asperger syndrome and was pretty psychologically impaired as a child, back then i'd think someone telling a joke was supposed to be funny but if i told the same joke i'd feel like i was in thw wrong. i knew everything then i do now when it comes to social activity, i just can't grasp it myself. i could write a pretty successful dating guide as i know (just like i did back then) what needs to be said to get a girl interested, but i fail when it comes to saying that sort of material in person.
the best way i can describe myself is as a manager, i can't play football but i could train and put together a decent team (hypothetical situation of course).
