^ He can't do either. He's had so many cosmetic procedures that there is very little left to work with on his face. Also he has a disease that caused him to lose all his melanin which is what makes your skin dark. Without melanin, he can't tan.

The poor man has so many mental and physical issues I wish people would just lay off him.

Sorry - but its true. Most Americans - even some former fans will never forgive him. Just like OJ will always be a wife-killer.

Even if only 1/2 of what they said was true - he's a freaking child molester and should not be around children - including his own! He's only partially addressed his crimes and hasn't come clean. We will forgive anyone if they do the public apology thing. Its a common subject for discussion everytime a celeb or politician crash and burn.

Billie Jean reminds me of a really fun time in my life and I must have listened to that album a million times. But so was everyone. We only had MTV to tell us what to listen to. Back in my day...

Until he comes clean, apologies and goes to rehab - he's dead to us. Modern American PR 101. :shameonyou:

Oh yeah - B. When you're picking up chicks in Florida, don't lead with "Hey, I'm going to see Michael Jackson!" Don't mention it unless a) she brings it up first and clearly adores Jacko or b) You test the waters first. "So, what do you think of Michael Jackson's comeback?"

He was found innocent in court. So I don't really see why he has to apologise for it. There's a lot of stuff he should say sorry for though. And yes, he needs help. I actually think people are harsh. Has R-Kelly made an apology? OJ murdered his wife, everyone knows that, and he's probably be in jail now, if that cop hadn't planted the glove.

Well, he did have a tan at one time. To me his story is a commentary on the world we live in and how it can warp people. I figure since he made himself a public figure, I can have an opinion about his life. He has made his life public.

He wasn't pale. I'm not sure when he really changed...and how much the pepsi commercial experience had to do with how much he changed.

Yes.. he did have a 'tan' he's black! !
Again - he has a disease that causes him to lose his skin pigmentation. He cannot tan! I suppose he could get a spray-on tan!

As for whether he is a molestor or not, I cannot be entirely certain because I was not there with him and the kids. But I can tell that he has very many issues and not to say that he shouldn't get help of course but, rather than judging him, I for one just feel very bad for some of the terrible things he has had to go through.

He has that disease, which is one consideration. Before the Pepsi commercial, he was darker but he had some cosmetic surgery too. That's what I was trying to figure out. How much was due to him wanting to change his appearance or due to the pepsi commercial incident. The Pepsi incident wasn't his fault and couldn't be helped.

from what I have read, he had been fading for quite some time and was keeping himself covered up and using dark makeup. Then I guess at some point he gave up trying to cover it.

Ah, so it keeps fading over time. I thought it was blotches and they had the choice on how to cover, with darker or lighter shades.

Must be the American middle-aged with kids demographic. Once you have kids you develop an intense desire to rid the world of pedophiles. I know - its sounds psycho but we're all allowed our psycho rabid causes, right?

The point is whoever can afford it in this country - can buy justice. (I say this as I'm hiring a lawyer to "clean up" after a little speeding violation I had.) But just because someone is not found guilty - it doesn't mean they are innocent.

I feel bad for him, too - but his life and freedom is worth no more than anyone else's no matter how sh***y and twisted his life has been. Perhaps if he'd been found guilty and done time, I'd actually be a lot more forgiving.

BTW, Benji - R. Kelly's just a superfreak. I don't get as worked up over consensual statutory rape - no matter how kinky.

There was a documentary i've seen about him, where people that knew him (like his manager, who was his dad or something like that...can't remember) said that with his prestige, he tried to show how far he could go without being punished. =/

You're right it does start with blotches.. but it spreads.
