Dershowitz is now arguing that Trump getting reelected is in America's best interest.Therefore Trump acted in America's best interest when he asked for Hunter Biden to be investigated,in the quid pro quo scandal.

This is completely batshit crazy and IMO if they go through with it sets a very dangerous precedent for the rest of trump’s presidency and all future POTUS.

It doesn’t even take a sh***y lawyer to realize that you can’t just say that you believed something was in the national interest and therefor you’re allowed to have done it no matter what it is. Wtf? Anyone with even a ~5th grade reading comprehension level can see that this is shady af.

Most of what you wrote could be said of the whole mess from the beginning. All kinds of bad precedence has been set.

Trump was acting in the interest of finding dirt on his main rival for the Presidency. End of story.

He had no abstract or idealistic feelings pertaining to “rooting out corruption” or whatever. For anybody who believes this, I have the Brooklyn Bridge to sell you.

He had a concrete objective that had nothing to do with anything ethical or moral.

I believe there is a Brooklyn Heights in Minnesota as well. A Minneapolis suburb.

There is a Brooklyn Bridge Road on I-95 in Maryland. About 35 miles from DC.
