is that the same tradition that involves wearing a pillow case on their head with eyeholes cut out and a dunce cap on top of that

The rioters wear black, and the brutal enforcers of the old social order wear white.

Black and white thinking?

I just figured since they're acting like terrorists, they wanted to dress like them too.

They aren't even breaking the law at night. Wearing black is just dumb.

I'm so sick of everybody generalizing Trump voters as all believing the same narrow--screw it. Every time I say anything about it I might as well say it to a brick wall. Go ahead and think what you want then.

I feel that. People who disagree with him get lumped together too, and I said the same thing a moment ago.

I offered a truce, somewhere. I think that thread wasn't locked before I made the post. I posted this, and some other comments elsewhere in the spirit of the truce I offered. My life will get easier if I can use hyperbole without people taking it seriously and be serious without people taking it as hyperbole.

The way the world has changed the last 20 years, you could have said something that everyone would have called hyperbole then and everyone is doing it now like it came naturally. Edit: and you could have said something that would have been seen as natural that could now only be hyperbole.

Trump and his lying ilk will start a nuclear war by claiming we're being bombed by Iran or China, yet provide NO PROOF. THIS is the prick we need in the White House? I beg to differ.

You and I don't think we need him, but did America get the president and congress that it deserves?

I could be wrong, but all Americans want to feel happy and safe. I am not convinced, though, that we need to bring America back to, say, the times of Washington or Jefferson to feel safe, regardless of what the current cabinet believes.

And you know what? Propaganda goes a long way. Are we really so unsafe that Muslims have to be registered, a wall has to be built on the southern border, and America has to be "put first"? That just seems like unwarranted, small-minded, right wing paranoia to me.

And to answer your question, no, America doesn't need a divisive president and congress like this.

People want to try. I intend to make it difficult, but they expected that. We'll see. Do What Thou Wilt.

No, wrong. I asked if we deserve Trump.

Not exactly.
Those are Anarchists, not leftists. If you don't have ANY idea what one looks out, check out images for Battle for Seattle. They wear black, tear things up and they DO NOT vote.Gusrentee you each one of those people in black has a copy of The Anarchist Cookbook.
Secondly, the KKK endorsed Trump,so did Duke. They burn crosses,or rather light them.Thats the proper term.
Most likely they have burned a few since the election. That still goes on you know.

Maybe they just couldn't see all the Trump supporters. The black Obama supporters stood out, but the Trump supporters, in their white robes, blended in to the white tarps. I saw a picture where they zoomed in, and it looks like Spicer may have had the right numbers after all.

*He said, hyperbolically, since there's a lot of hyperbole going on and he wanted to play*

^^ "Anarchists" are the farthest left of the Left. They are basically communist guerrilla units seeking violent overthrow of the state.

(They are not to be confused with certain 19th-century schools of thought, sometimes called Individualist Anarchism, which are ancestors of modern libertarianism.)

And they were causing trouble long before Trump ran for office. Its not like they just magically appeared right now.
I don't like corporate greed either, but I'm not going to bust a window becuse of it.Another thing,Starbucks can afford another window,Joes donut shop ran by a private individual may have crappy insurance.I always feel bad for the business owner when a place gets trashed.
