Reference the story of the boy who cried wolf.

That's exactly the problem. There's been endless "he's going down for sure now" scenarios going on for years.

Which is the biggest reason I want him back in the Oval Office; just to burn their asses.

Trump should be a Libertarian's worst nightmare.

He could be worse than Hitler but as long as the left gets pwn3d it’s worth it.

I would LOVE for there to be hearings in August----but I guess I'll have to wait till September.

As far as I'm concerned, the Committee has come up with considerable evidence that Trump and his gang did a lot of things wrong.

Yes and in the meantime the DOJ will have time to process and supply them with some new juicy evidence to work with when they reconvene. I'm sure the timing of that is purely coincidental *wink wink*.

Don't forget the satisfaction them being destroyed in the midterms to look forward to. I hope Schumer and Pelosi look as crushed as Hillary did.

I’d rather see our country have competent leadership rather than celebrating who gets owned.

Yes. It seems an odd, dare I say juvenile, priority for choosing a president: "Because he upsets liberals". Can he beat up their daddies too?

We have now is incoherent leadership.

How was Trump's leadership, in any way, coherent?

Basically, he ruled by tweet.....

I wanted Sanders, not Biden.

If it had been someone other than the president who had the power to declassify them, taking his work home with him, then it would be more surprising. As a former president he probably has bigger secrets stored in his head.

They were just on a fishing expedition for something to help with the failing Jan 6 committee investigations. A last desperate attempt.

Umm, except it was him And he didn’t declassify them.. he stole them and hid them in his home. Those are crimes. This isn’t a fishing expedition. He’s committed multiple crimes - in both instances. Plus many others pertaining to other unrelated things.

The point is he could have declassified them. So he didn't need to steal them. So that being the case he might have skipped a formality.

And of course they were there to get anything and everything they could lay their hands on. That's how the warrant was written. There's no sense in pretending the search wasn't designed that way or wasn't for that purpose.

So, if I go rob a bank, and then claim I could have earned the money, but I didn't.. but it was just a formality that I skipped, I should be able to keep the money and face zero consequences for the crime of robbing the bank instead of going through the formality of earning the money? :? Hmmm..

It really seems you don't grasp the seriousness of stealing national secrets for the probable purpose of harming the USA via selling them, giving them away, or using them for your own personal gain. This is very Very serious stuff. Documents that are only to be viewed in secure "spy proof," rooms stolen and stored at trump's golf course ?? That's "Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go straight to jail," type stuff.

To minimize it and suggest that it was nothingburgerish because it may have technically been possible for trump to declassify the documents and then make them public to all, including himself, is absurd. He didn't declassify them - and probably because doing so and going through that process for this specific information would have raised some serious red flags. That's why he stole & hid it so he could use it later.

I believe he'll face consequences for this as well as J6 and other criming. Dude's never gonna be president again. Probably gonna be trading his gold toilet for a stainless steel one.

Agreed - and I don't work in any kind of court system like IIRC kk does. He may not be a lawyer, but it doesn't take one to glean from the J6 hearings that trump and his gang have done some major criming against the USA.
