I like to feel 38, so thanks to Goldfish for that. And somewhere in the Bible it mentions something about "and a little child shall lead them" so there's nowt wrong with youth showing us the way like Greta is!

That's brilliant. It completely eliminates the need for rules and moderators. And presto spam no longer exists. Trolling, profanity, obscenity? Just avert your eyes and it's not an issue.

Yes it's very much like a religion isn't it?

Btw the entire passage is:

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them."
- Isaiah 11:6

The diehard followers of Trump also resemble a religion.

The difference I see is that when it comes to religious sounding jargon regarding climate change, I here it from climate change proponents. When I hear religious sounding jargon regarding Trump supporters, I don't hear it from them, I hear it from those who don't like them ie "worship, god, messiah" etc.

It isn't an issue for me. <shrug>
I'm a big boy who finds emotionalistic nonsense amusing.

Settle, moit.
Actual spam is different.
And personal attacks generally get dealt with here too, don't they?

This is simply my opinion on this point.
We usually agree.
Save your energy for others.

It is a reasonable position, from my point of view.
If some people don't like what I say, I suggest they don't read it.
Simples. <shrug>

The problem in this case isn't with what is said, it's how repetitive it is to the point where it totally dominates News and Current Events.

If someone started a thread about macaroni and cheese, that wouldn't be an issue. If several seperate threads about macaroni and cheese were made on a daily basis, going on years, that would become really tiresome and annoying spam.

Macaroni and cheese is harmless.

If I read several threads about macaroni and cheese, I would just get hungry.

Happy Holidays to liberals and conservatives everywhere.

Ezra should start a thread about macaroni and cheese. There are so many delish ways of preparing it! I have a favourite recipe...

Mine calls for 400g of grated cheddar cheese plus a tub of cream/cottage cheese, milk and some herbs and spices etc. You don't even have to precook the pasta - it all gets mixed together and baked in the over, first 30 minutes covered and the next 30 uncovered. Very simple and tasty method.
