Don't we have a choice to be evil or not? I think so--we've got free will.

Racism can be cultural but only the individual can assent to it. Then again, some people are just nuts.

A few years ago, one Louisiana Republican state legislator described what he saw as caring for the needy, as - - "If you feed stray dogs, they keep coming back."
I've heard Tea baggers say about caring for those without or disabled: "I don't see why I have to pay for it."
And so on, and so on. For all their talk of making people on public assistance look for jobs and work, I have yet to hear any of them address the question about lack of jobs, or lack of jobs that allow one to live. I'll probably die of a heart attack if any of them suggest that businesses be compelled to hire people with good wages and benefits.

Nobody is saying Trump is responsible for our personal problems. He's just exasperating an already existing cancer in American society.

It's just a means to convince people that they don't need any of those fancy chmancy things, because real individuals can stand on their own feet - - though they can't drive on kept up roads.

And I think you miss the point that people who go into that fast food business did so because perhaps they never wanted to deal with that. I'm sure that when McDonald's and Colonel Sanders and Wendy's were at the drawing board they never thought that 40 year old people would choose fast food as a career. They probably figured high school kids would do it for a couple years to get extra money.

Now, people think fast food restaurants workers should have a union, negotiate for wages. They may already do that. I'm sorry, I think that's crazy. Flipping a burger is not a career... it's a place to start, a place to make a little extra, a place if you are bored, or a place to end if you need to supplement your retirement. It's not a career.

I don't dislike Bill. I have just seen in his writings that he wants to see capitalism replaced by socialism. I've seen that in your writings too. So it's like 'don't call us communists because we say that we want a socialist government'?
