There are news reports that Trump was unhappy that the rioters looked to be low class. He does not like low class things to be associated with him. It tends to tarnish his “image” of being rich and successful.

A White House insider had claimed Trump said: "The virus is a good thing; now I won't have to shake hands with disgusting people."

Let's hope they all get sick and die. Less white suprimists but sadly they multiply.

Those "disgusting" MAGAs have sacrificed their livelihoods to attend the klan rally at the capitol building. But I am sure they will just say its fake news.

The funny thing is, the forty thousand maniacs who showed up at the capitol were hardly out of work minimum wage workers or hillbilly types. No, those sorts of people who are usually associated with Trump support couldn't afford to travel across the country for a massive act of sedition. Most of that mob was composed of middle and upper middle class people, many business owners. Goes to show you what Trump feels for what any other politician would drool to have the support of.

Oh dear...lots of wealthy business owners, the CEO of a tech company, stock brokers, lawyers and other professionals identified among the rioters who broke US property.



My favourite is the wife of a multimillionaire who flew with her friends on a private jet to DC and can be seen breaking windows, She is openly calling for war against the government. I imagine her idea of war is sitting in her mansion with her wealthy Karen friends watching others die on her private movie theatre. She called the riot the "best day of her life".

Well gosh...

I had no idea that we all looked wrong.

From now on...I will be sure to wear a gray flannel business suit whenever I attend a pro Trump riot...er...I mean ...rally... so as not to upset my idol!

We should have a strict dress code next time. No more of those camo caps from Pro Bass that make you look like a deer hunting hillbilly (even if you ARE that). Gotta wear tennis whites (even if it's winter)so you look like you are a member of a country club (whether you are that or not).

And I guess that...wearing a buffalo horn head dress is now... out of the question! What a buzz kill!

When Luke Mogelson attended President Donald Trump’s speech on the National Mall, in Washington, D.C., on January 6th, he was prepared for the possibility that violence might erupt that day. Mogelson, a veteran war correspondent and a contributing writer at The New Yorker, had spent the previous ten months reporting on the radical fringe of Trump supporters, from anti-lockdown militias to fascist groups such as the Proud Boys. After Election Day, he interviewed Trump supporters who showed up at ballot-tabulation sites, and who believed the President’s lies that the results had been “rigged” and his victory “stolen.” At one post-election pro-Trump rally in D.C., Mogelson witnessed racist violence against Black residents of the nation’s capital. At another event, he watched the host of the white-supremacist Web program “America First” declare, “Our Founding Fathers would get in the streets, and they would take this country back by force if necessary. And that is what we must be prepared to do.”

After Trump’s incendiary speech, Mogelson followed the President’s supporters as they forced their way into the U.S. Capitol, using his phone’s camera as a reporter’s notebook. What follows is a video that includes some of that raw footage. Mogelson harnessed this material while writing his panoramic, definitive report, “Among the Insurrectionists,” which the magazine posted online on Friday. (It appears in print in the January 25th issue.) His prose vividly captures how the raging anger and violence of the initial breach of the Capitol was followed by an eerily quiet and surreal interlude inside the Senate chamber, where Mogelson watched people rummaging through desks and posing for photographs. Although the footage was not originally intended for publication, it documents a historic event and serves as a visceral complement to Mogelson’s probing, illuminating report.

I wonder how many of those rioters were the same people that joined BLM protests and caused trouble?

And many of these minions were wealthy. They traveled across the US to be there. Only the poor ones would be from the area and some only went for the ride.
