Right-Wing Republicans and Defunding Planned Parenthood

Seriously, I'm not going to support my tax dollars going to the murder of infants.
You may be surprised to read this, but actually, I consider myself pro-life, too. I just find myself holding most of the pro-life movement in contempt. Caring about a baby while it's still in the womb, but allowing it to die from malnutrition or sickness, for some sick notion that making people pull themselves up by their own bootstraps is good for them, makes my stomach churn.
Possibly it's that the branch of the "pro-life movement" that handles that end of things doesn't necessarily identify itself, first and foremost, as pro-life. Charity soup kitchens and women's shelters and the like.
More likely "pro-life" to him is no death penalty for homicidal maniacs that kill people in cold blood.

That's part of it. Yes. (edit: Which is to say, life is life. There's no picking and choosing.)

Then why are the Union signs in Wisconsin call the sitting Wisconsin Governor Adolf Hitler?
Looks like the left's idea of civility is complete silencing of their critics.
While the governor of Wisconsin is actually acting against the union members (Obama in fact did no such thing against the tea baggers), they should remember only Hitler is Hitler, and Governor Walker is just an a**hole.
-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer
How is he acting against Union members aside from saying they need to contribute more to their own retirement plans and pay more for their insurance.
There's far more than just wanting government employees to contribute to their pension and insurance funds, as they have already said they'd be ready to negotiate on that. This has to do with taking away their collective bargaining - this is a move to destroy their union, justifying this by scapegoating public workers for all of Wisconsin's ills. I would definitely say Governor Walker qualifies for being called an a**hole.
-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer
Uh the left was accusing the Tea Party, Rush Limbaugh, Beck, Bachmann, people that voted out the Democrats in 2010, of being accessories to murder, cause of their "violent rhetoric." In doing that, yes they accused the majority of the American people of being accessories to murder.
Which once again has nothing to do with my original post inuyasha.
Here is where you are wrong:
1. Being pro-life could be argued as something more than just a religious view. If an unborn baby is a person, then quite frankly abortion is arguably murder. That is the cold hard facts, if a baby in the womb is a person, than abortion is legalized murder.
2. Being against Gay Marriage does not mean Conservatives want homosexuals rounded up and thrown in Concentration camps.
3. We want our religious views respected not walked all over, that does not mean we want atheists, muslims, etc. persecuted.
4. We are against drugs like LSD being made legal, and there is actually a good reason for that because drug users can actually be a threat to others. We have enough problems with alcohol in this country, we don't need people addicted to other substances on top of alcohol. That said, we want to go after the dealers, and hopefully rehab (serious rehab) will help those addicted.
5. Despite the song and dance routine, Conservatives are not against 1st Amendment Rights, you don't want to listen to someone on the radio, change the station you are listening to, it's just that simple.
Doubtful that's going to happen, the country has shifted to being more pro-life in recent years.
Stop with the fear mongering, I have a moral objection to my tax dollars being used to fund the murder of innocent children. Would you honestly like a graphic description of what they do in an abortion, or how about killing the baby after the abortion fails and the baby is born alive. The more people know about abortion the more disgusted they are with it.
I don't just hold the mother responsible, the father should not abandon the mother, both are equally responsible for that kid. Killing a child simply because two people decided to be irresponsible and have sex is just plain wrong.

Better to be an a**hole then be an asskisser for unions. They are the most corrupted scum in the history of America. My hometown learned the hard way when the teachers union threatened to strike because of the "low pay" and other things, pretty much not only forcing the school board to make severe layoffs if the union had its way.
If the union striked, well kids don't have an education. My opinion is don't like your pay, find a better job or profession.
I'd rather be force fed poison than EVER work for a unionised company or govt agency for reasons like that.
Sometimes, the fetus doesn't implant in the uterus, but in one of the tubes which does rupture if the clump of cells isn't removed. In that case, it's a medical necessity especially if the woman wants to have more children. That's one medical reason why a pregnancy might be ended artificially. Then there are rare occasions where a woman has young children who still need her, so if a pregnancy might kill her, she might sacrifice the pregnancy so she could be there to raise the children she already has.
Most failed pregnancies are actually naturally caused because the fetus simply didn't survive past the first few weeks, but those are called miscarriages, but are also known as "spontaneous abortions." Often, there is still dead tissue inside the uterus, so doctors have to remove that to allow the woman to become pregnant again if she wants.
The point of this is that not all abortions are "evil" but in some cases, medically necessary. Otherwise, not only would we have people dying because of using coat hangers, more might die because the pregnancy killed them, and if the mother dies, so does the fetus growing inside her. Then, there could be more cases of infertility because a woman's tube ruptured when the fetus implanted in a spot that wasn't designed to expand. Planned Parenthood doesn't just do abortions, they also provide birth control for those who are trying to avoid pregnancy for whatever reason, as most people aren't able to practice abstinence.

2. Never said as much, but you do seek to deny them rights, which once again has nothing to do with my post, my post was made in the context of the abortion issue.
3. If respected means sanctified in law, then yes this means you want others persecuted.(in the sense that you want your religious morals enshrined in law over theirs) If not then please define what you mean by respected, and please specify what disrespect has been shown.
4. I wasn't referring to drugs, so your point is irrelevent.
5. Never said anything having to do with this.
Doubtful that's going to happen, the country has shifted to being more pro-life in recent years.
Source that. Even then the only reason these republicans are in office is because the democratic legislative f****d up under a democratic president. They didn't get voted in because of their pro-life stance.

What fear mongering? Moral objections do not matter, ruveyn has a moral objection to taxes as a whole this doesn't mean he gets to just stop paying them. The rest of this section makes wide claims about the circumstances of abortions, you do not specify how many abortions you think come about under these circumstances.
But once again you have failed to address my point, a religious subset of the American people who now think it is ok to implant their religious moral systems into federal law. Can you try once more? Maybe focus.
EDIT: http://www.gallup.com/poll/118399/more- ... -time.aspx
Just in-case this is what you where referring to. When ignoring the self identification section and going straight to beliefs. Illegal in all circumstances is a minority(on par with legal in all circumstances) with the moderates showing as the majority.

My Dad had been a union member, and because of that, he was able to purchase a house, give us a middle class standard of living, and provide us with health care.
As far as those teachers going out to find better paying jobs - such jobs wouldn't exist without organized labor fighting to raise the bar in pay and benefits, which has even affected non-union shops.
In regard to your personal experience with unions - I can't comment, because I don't know what had occurred first hand. But I'll say this - teachers are among the most underpaid professionals in this country. And being that they teach our children, I want a pay scale that will attract the best of the best. Not the kind of people who couldn't find any other kind of work, and would give our kids an inferior education. And yes, I am a father of a school age child.

There is also examples of people being arrested for speaking out against homosexuality once "gay marriage" is legalized.

While the old lady may have gone a little overboard in her criticism, Cops showing up at her door is a little overboard wouldn't you say.
For starters, if people want to pray in school, I say let them. I don't care if they are Jewish, Muslim, or Christian. Second of all, stop trying to force religion to just be behind closed doors.
I'm not going to push for laws to discriminate against people of other faiths that would be just as bad.
Things like Sharia law should never be allowed in the United States (stoning and honor killings kinda runs right smack into everything this country stands for).
It tends to be a common libertarian talking point, it wasn't necessarily directed towards you.

95% of Abortions are for birth control.
1% is rape or incest
1% is fetal abnormalities
3% is due to mother's health problems
http://www.abortiontv.com/Misc/AbortionStatistics.htm
Maybe a little out of date now, but this website points out about 4,000 abortions in the US daily.
Okay 95% of the 4,000 a day is just for birth control, how many before it becomes wrong ikorack?
So objecting to what is arguably murder is just a religious issue? Sorry but last I checked murder is also a crime, so we basically have legalized murders.
Just in-case this is what you where referring to. When ignoring the self identification section and going straight to beliefs. Illegal in all circumstances is a minority(on par with legal in all circumstances) with the moderates showing as the majority.
I never said I was against abortion in every circumstance. There are extremely rare instances where I can understand it potentially being allowed. That said, it is only 5% of abortions that would fall under that situation.
That means about 200 out of 4000 abortions daily actually are due to something where there may be a legit rationale. What about the other 3,800 daily?
There is also examples of people being arrested for speaking out against homosexuality once "gay marriage" is legalized.

* 74% say having a baby would interfere with work, school, or other responsibilities.

Less than 2% say they became pregnant as a result of rape or incest.

These would be your 'just birth control' people who know they are in no position to be raising children. As for your whole wrong thing, I'm not certain I get what you mean, define what you mean by wrong. Also you did not address my point about your moral objections being irrelevant to your obligation to pay taxes.
So objecting to what is arguably murder is just a religious issue? Sorry but last I checked murder is also a crime, so we basically have legalized murders.
When your arguments for a fetus being life equatable with someone already born relies on religious dogma or thought then yes it is a religious issue. arguably murder is not murder. arguably murder is not a crime.

Define legitimate rational. If the parents can't take care of the child that would result is that not legitimate rational? And don't claim adoption as a legitimate solution, our system is rife with abuse, and way overpopulated with children as it is.

Again I hold the father responsible for the wellbeing of the child not just the mother, even if they don't marry the father should contribute to child support.
You are asking people to pay for what they consider is murdering innocent children for the sake of conveinence. Remember 4,000 abortions daily ikorack, 3800 of those are for conveinence.

Actually, my view is whether or not it has a heartbeat and brainwaves which is pretty dang early in the pregnency. I think that is entirely reasonable to assume someone is alive if they have detectable brainwaves and a heartbeat.

Rational for me is abortions due to rape, incest, no brainwave activity from infant well after brain activity should have started, serious health issue to the mother are understandable.
Also adoption is a legitimate solution for infants in all honesty, there is generally a backlog of people wanting to adopt children. Not to sound callous but it is easier to place an infant in a family than a teenager whom probably has suffered from abuse and neglect.

You are asking people to pay for what they consider is murdering innocent children for the sake of conveinence. Remember 4,000 abortions daily ikorack, 3800 of those are for conveinence.
No, what is arguably murder, even if it was murder they don't have the option of withholding taxes. You have still not given any evidence on moral dilemmas having any relevance on whether or not someone pays taxes. Who are you too say someone you have never met is suitable for parenting? There is no justification for bringing a child into this world with no suitable parent when it can be avoided.
Actually, my view is whether or not it has a heartbeat and brainwaves which is pretty dang early in the pregnency. I think that is entirely reasonable to assume someone is alive if they have detectable brainwaves and a heartbeat.
This isn't about your views, at all.
Define legitimate rational. If the parents can't take care of the child that would result is that not legitimate rational? And don't claim adoption as a legitimate solution, our system is rife with abuse, and way overpopulated with children as it is.
No it isn't the adoption rate has remained constant(with the number of adoptions coming from foreign countries actually rising, the total remaining in stasis) the number of children needing to be adopted has only risen. Your argument has no backing.

As a quick question how many children do you intend to adopt?(assuming of course that life goes well) Would suffering disqualify someone from your consideration?

I gotta tell you - there is no Sharia law anywhere in America. That is a bunch of s**t espoused by that pin headed cretin Sharon Angle, and others (she also cast doubt on the existence of autism, by the way). I don't know the full details of the situation in Dearborn, but there is no Sharia law there. A fact that is continually repeated by the city of Dearborn. As for Dearborn having the largest Muslim population in America - that may be so, I don't know; but in fact, the majority of Arab Americans in that city are in fact Christians.

Well that explains why those guys were arrested then? Btw, they were acquitted by a jury and now the city is being sued by the individuals the police arrested on arguably bogus charges.

Judges are apparently able to consider cases based on Sharia Law.
