I think "God Hates Fags" is just to cover up the fact that Freddy Boy is a super, ultra, mega fag.

I've been wondering about that, myself.

That's how it usually works, it seems.

Or the instantaneous dispersal of its structural parts over the widest possible area.

I find it crazy that they are given more 1st amedment freedoms than OWS protresters.

Religious nuts are allowed to protest funerals of children for reasons that escape a sane mind, but those who protest the big dawgs that caused the finacial meltdown, they get pepper sprayed and hit in the head with canisters and clubbed in the head while riding a bike, and experience other forms of police brutality that dont get shown in the media.

When has a westboro church member been treated like that??

go figure

As long as they do not trespass they legally clear. OWS are trespassers or obstructing traffic. They are subject to legal penalty.

Trespassing or not, it still makes me want to see the Westboro Baptists get hit on the head with tear gas canisters.

The Nuge said much the same thing about OWS protesters the other day; you're both equally wrong btw, the whole point of the first amendment is to protect offensive speech.

I second your emotion. But the use of force MUST be controlled by Law, not by feelings.

I would love to see Fred Phelps argue with Gene Ray, the Time Cube guy.

They're eerily similar: loopy old men, convinced America will be destroyed unless everyone converts to their crazed worldview.

It would be the greatest debate of the Internet age, and I don't know who would win.

They would probably both die from heart attacks in the middle of screaming at each other.

In that case, send a report to the ATF that the Westboro Baptists have illegally modified guns in their possession, then let nature take it's course, as it had at Waco, or Ruby Ridge.

That's an atrocious statement. The Waco siege was mishandled severely by the ATF and 4 of their agents died for no real reason other than stubbornness of the superiors. The Davidians and the Weavers, etc. at those places weren't the only ones to die.

Before anyone says anything else, please remember you stated that Waco and Ruby Ridge were successful operations and implied as if these were good things. Federal agents died in both confrontations, and women and children died in Waco. A sniper killed a woman holding a baby at Ruby Ridge, and they actually had to assemble a panel to make sure something like the operation at Ruby Ridge would never happen again. The panel literally said that bullet never should have been fired. The Senate Committee even declared the operation unconstitutional.

Ruby Ridge and Waco were major black eyes to law enforcement. People died in those operations that should not have, especially the ATF agents at Waco. "Nature taking its course" meant those people were supposed to die as well. Shame on you for trying to pass these off for saying they were anything good like that.

BACK ON TOPIC:

Fred Phelps looks like the Tall Man from the Phantasm movies to me for some reason.

Also, how many people knew Fred Phelps was a civil rights activist? I find that rather strange.
