Really? How does voter fraud keep anyone else from voting.

SALON.COM: "Diebold voting machines can be hacked by remote control" (September 27, 2011)

Okay, voter fraud in that scene, but hardly in the same way as if the odd person voted in two different precincts, or if some occasional unqualified person squeezes through the cracks to cast a vote.

I'm sure you would think the sky was falling if there was any threat that you could be discouraged or disenfranchised from voting.
Just because blabby isn't being disenfranchised doesn't mean he doesn't care what happens to someone else. Even we Aspies are capable of empathy.

Yeah well, the information is hardly conclusive enough to panic over.

If anyone is being denied their legal right to vote, it is reason to panic. If it's poor blacks today, it could just as easily be you tomorrow.

Denied their right to vote?? I don't think anyone is being denied their eight to vote. What is going on in Wisconsin that you two have your drawers in knots over is legal.

jim crow was "legal" also. just because the powers that be pass a law that is "legal" doesn't make it morally right.

sorry  but I had to say something in regards to how people can so easily criticize others for warning that "the sky is falling" except when the shoe is on the other foot which would make them squawk just as readily.

I hardly think this is anything like the Jim Crow era.

Just as progress can happen with one step at a time, reaction works with one step at a time backward.

Oh, no, no reason to apologize; just as long as someone said it. 8)

Aside from the obviously slanted hiring practices at the Ferguson Police Department, its original story has now been proved correct. And yet, I agree that "many folk in Ferguson [will] say otherwise" regardless of the facts.

What they are doing here is trying to disrupt the process and make it chaotic so that they can steal the election. It is obvious to anyone with three brain cells to rub together that the more people who vote in this election, the less likely Conservatives can win, period. Conservatives know this. They are not blind or stupid, just obtuse. If 100% of voters actually showed up to vote on Nov 4th, Conservatives would be lucky to get 30% of the vote

If "voter suppression" where the pandemic that liberals insist it is then there's no way Obama got elected TWICE.
Clinton had two terms as well but how with this "voter suppression"? If the GOP doesn't prop up someone that appears to be more promising then we'll have another democrat in the oval office for 4-8 years. Regardless of the outcome, I won't sleep any better or worse.

Republicans by all evidence had tried it, but hadn't counted on the liberal backlash of resisting shenanigans to keep people from voting.

So as long as you can vote, then you haven't been disenfranchised even if other people illegally vote more than once? What if those additional votes change the election in their favor and against yours? That's not disenfranchisement?

I doubt that the Conservatives are worried very much about losing much in this election. Overall, they should do very good.
