Evidence mounts that Lubitz was a narcissistic mass murderer..

The conclusion to this article is:
If the prosecutors’ allegations prove true, it looks as though those who complained that the international media was doing a disservice to depression sufferers had a point. Lubitz wasn’t merely depressed, he was psychopathic.

The media realisation that this was "aggression not depression" seems to be at a formative stage now:

The damage has already been done...

Yes it has. I hope that there will now be more accurate stuff that will mitigate the damage at least to some extent, small though that will be. If the big internationally read papers pick up the aggression not depression theme (like The Guardian) then the mitigation will be more effective...

It's fairly obvious that aggression was involved. However male depression often manifests itself as aggression due to societal factors, which is a sticking point. It's difficult to prove after the fact what exactly what was going through the pilot's mind. I have to assume extreme intense anger. This can co-occur with depression of course.

Certainly agree that male depression can manifest as aggression - but generally not in the form of mass murder, which is what Lubitz committed. Male depression is (unfortunately) strongly correlated with suicide, (but not homicide). Narcissism is more correlated with planned, coldly calculated mass murder, rather than depression.
