If Trump is such a good businessman, why didn't he predict the real estate crash?

I think the people knew what they were paying for but they unfortunately got into that game too late or way too early to avoid the collapse. Bad timing, sucks for them. Those that wanted a full refunds got them when it was available, doesn't sound like any scam I've heard of.

No you didn't. I asked if you would enroll not what these other people did.

And when Trump is featured in ads telling lies about his university, like how all the instructors are hand picked by him, than it's rather hard to make the argument that people knew what they were getting into. Also if this was such a great institution than why were they not able to see the crash coming? There are people on record warning us before the crash what was about to happen, so why not them?

Damn it, you beat me to it.

If Trump's problem with the judge was his membership in Larraza, why didn't he just say that? Instead, he goes out of his way to say, "We think he's a Mexican," which was followed by a series of boos from the crowd. Trump called the judge Mexican (he's actually an American by birth) because he knew he could get sympathy from the racists in the audience. I genuinely live in fear of the racist storm that Trump has been stoking, as it might become unleashed on the country. We Americans should never see other Americans as "the other."

I said I would never pay for any seminar as I confident in myself being able to find that information without needing somebody to teach me it. Also I might add that real estate is all about capital, they were in no way responsible for people's failures in real estate. What were they expecting, Trump to buy them properties? It's silly.

Why didn't they predict the crash? I dunno, why didn't the government?

I would supported Ron Paul for president, he's the only person I know of that predicted. Too bad we didn't listen.

Because George Bush was President. That's a big reason they didn't predict the crash.

So ok then paying up to 35,000 dollars to take some seminars to get information offered for free elsewhere. That sounds like a scam to me. Trump university is responsible for milking gullible people out of their money and offering no substance in return. Trump has claimed many things about this institution that were never true.

The seeds of that bubble were planted before W ever took office but no one of any influence was predicting it obviously, too bad nobody seems to want to listen to Ron Paul who DID.

As for Trump University, they can't blame Trump because they failed at real estate. That's not his fault. Those that spent that much money were offered multiple chances to get refunds if they thought they were over their head or if the information was not useful for them and a good portion did.

FYI the UK Conservatives and PM plan to copy the U.S. form of student loans, claiming it will provide better access and make education more affordable.

Though they plan to work through the major banks.

Given all the other things that Trump has shrugged off that would have felled most presidential candidates, why does anyone think this is going to be the thing that finally sticks to him?

It all sticks to him. It's just that the memories of most voters seem to only stretch as far back as the most recent revelation. Unless all of the revelations are examined simultaneously in the same context, his loyal fans are going to march in lock-step into every polling place and vote for Mr. Trump.

Trump can settle the case tomorrow if he wanted to but Trump doesn't settle cases, he takes them to trial or has them thrown out. When you do business you get sued A LOT, Trump has won the vast majority of cases brought against him.

Hillary supporters are literally shrugging off a potential FBI indictment so please, don't call me the lemming

you guys are going to nominate a total dud and I love it

It just happens to be a big set of suits with the courts finally ordering the unsealing of the documents.

He's on record claiming to "hand pick" the instructors, that the instructors met his high real estate requirements, instructors had real estate experience and that he was active in the education and students lives.

This week he claims he was completely hands off with Trump University and didn't know what was going on there.
He says if anything wrong doing happened, it was due to people hired by others to run it.

He also claims he never made those claims in 2005 and doesn't know where the record of him in person making those claims are coming from.
He's also flip flopping with the courts on the stuff he's told them under oath regarding the university as part of his trial.

He's has inferred the establishment is out to get him and behind it based on the timing of it.

And people who aren't shills for Hillary are going to care about this why? Again, who is any of this news to?

This was from CNN Today.

What happened?

Trump has repeatedly called for Nuclear Armament of Japan and/or the U.S. to station Nukes on Japanese Territory, ignoring Japanese law and treaty commitments during this primary season.
He even said it during an interview on CNN

Trump today stated he never said Japan should have nuclear arms nor did he say the U.S. should put nukes in Japan.
He said he doesn't know where people keep getting these statements about him saying stuff he has never said.
He says CNN has it wrong and his enemies are paying them to run this false story against him.

CNN showed the footage of their interview with him and him saying it at other events.
We are awaiting for Trump to respond.
