The short answer is in two words: extreme reductionism.

The longer answer: psychiatry resolutely refuses to apply critical thinking to its claims, and is all too often a tool of social control masquerading as a helping profession.

Some experimental psychologists get caught in the web of extreme reductionism too. They are usually behaviourists (though not always).

I'm not afraid of questioning psychology from a critical perspective, and have very often done so on WP!!

The only thing the hysterical establishment is correct on is he is RINO. Before aligning with the Republicans because he is mostly conservative as he aged what was he? Remember the REFORM PARTY? he stuck a long while (which is why there are no records of him voting in primaries. DOH. Because he was not countable. He was voting only in November like Independents must. Primaries are run by committee so can release the info of those votes and most busy people/celebrities vote chute A or chute B in the Primary because they are content to vote a party line to avoid lines in November. Non primary parties don't have early absentee ).

Trump is a social progressive and fiscal conservative. He naturally grew up Democrat. He talks like a typical New Yorker (Huge, Great, Sad, Smart, etc) instead of Bluestocking Social Register posh and now speaks in Twitterese flavored by bombastic apprentice attitude.
He has worked the system and seen it's underbelly. He is lot of things. But he DOES love America. Even if motivation was 100% selfish? He need a healthy America to ensure Trump empire stands. And though removed in his ivory tower of power, he does honestly care about the little guy, Joe middle class. If for no other reason than healthy middle class is healthy country even if there are some extremes. He has never condoned illegal immigration, or one way trade policies. As for abortion... I can't call something that took over a decade to decide and was stated almost decade ago as "flip flop".
He is pompous and vain but those are not crimes, or destroy humanity at large. The USA will best survive Trump even if he fizzles. He is not sending legal foreign citizens to gulag. Not even the illegal ones being deported will be shot against the Wall. He is not going to push the DEFCON5 button at every slight. Certain EU will hate him but so what. France may have collective nationwide anuerysm. Frau Urkel will be pissy but then she will snap her suspenders and go "did I do that?" before trying to concentrate to keep her own power base. But we are not a dead power yet so Eu will be trading as usual with us in record time. 4 years he will be gone unless he actually shows positive results. He is not after portion of Constitution to erase. He was once a bit hostile on assault weapons until he had a free day to study the constitution and realize why it is a a slippery slope to go for bans.

On the conspiracy side?
If he is establishment plant who cares who put him in there. He'll finish off the SCOTUS , enact a martial law plan to ban all firearms and set it up for the shadow behind the curtain to come out

Yes, he of course is focused on the business at hand since it can help him (real estate) as well as others. No one said he is like some philanthropist sacrificing Mother Teresa >_<

Trump speaks unscripted, he is not a refined politician who always has a teleprompter in front of him. Part of how he keeps his campaign interesting is by allowing himself to speak like a normal person with a flow of consciousness. Super scripted and hiding from the media like Hillary does is not a way to endure yourself. I find Trump refreshing as most of his supporters do, he is willing to go to bat against the most powerful people in the world and the way he speaks gives him credibility in the fact that he is not beholden to anyone.
