RNC and DNC
CNN is probably the most anti-Trump channel, even worse than MSNBC as far as getting fair objective coverage. Even they couldn't rig their 'instant polls' against Trump last night, they were in full damage control. CNN is not called the Clinton News Network for no reason.
Trump's speechwriter is Stephen Miller, I've posted about him before as he's an impressive speaker in his own right and I recommend looking him up or catching him whenever you see him on TV.

They're not air and balanced like Fox, huh?

I have plenty of problems with FNC, they've said plenty of awful things about Trump and they're no where near as in the bag for Trump as CNN is for Clinton. It's more than ideology with CNN, CNN has a financial stake in it and that's why they shill for Hillary so hard. MSNBC surprisingly is much more reasonable than CNN despite it's reputation for left leanings, they're not incapable of saying anything positive about Trump and don't feel the need to spin spin spin to the same degree.
Also, I think little Baron looks more like Trump than any of his other kids. Do you guys think Trump tries to put the Trump hair on him and Baron's like NAH.
On a side note- does anyone else think that little Prince George is taking after Prince Charles? He's probably like, Ha! Still genetically relevant!
Barron is definitely a ringer for his father, Don Jr looks a lot like him as well albeit darker features. I did notice Barron last night, I was thinking that if I was put in the same situation like that at that age I'd probably act similar but it was also really late and he appeared visibly tired. They're a great family and I don't think there is anyway anybody could come away not impressed by them, I hope to see more of the Trump family to run for office. Ivanka actually is on the ballot in NY-12 as the Reform party this November as she received 2 write in votes which is apparently enough to get their nomination. Kind of makes me want to get on the ballot one of these days if that's all it takes! ![]()
Bush was empty talk. He killed the space shuttle program in 2004, to be replaced by a new vehicle program, which he never funded. He had no intention of continuing space exploration. His goal was to shut the space program down, so he could give more tax breaks to his billionaire friends. The only thing the conservatives care about is making the rich richer.
So how do you reconcile that with the fact that Wall Street and Silicon Valley have taken control of the Democratic party? The Democrats are the party of billionaires now.
The US is not a democracy. It's an oligarchy. Of course both parties are controlled by the elite. Thats the way it has always been, and the way it will always be, unless the political system changes. The two parties are just there to give people the illusion, that they have some control of it.
I'm frustrated at the sparse and vague list of speakers for the DNC. Most notably, WILL or will we NOT get Kanye West as a speaker? I seem to remember that he promised a presidential run some time ago. Kanye is definitely on the autism spectrum, so could be our horse in the race. A Kanye West America would probably look like some cross between Tatooine and Westworld. Imagine his negotiation abilities. Who is going to mess with a man dressed in gauze who does not smile? No one.
I figure they are playing coy with the list because they have some very good speakers, in addition to the regular senators and whatnot, but we'll see. If Hillary is in charge of it, it may in fact be pretty boring.
I've also heard that an amazing number of protesters will be outside. There were only a couple thousand outside the RNC. There are supposed to be tens of thousands at the DNC. Seriously?? What's the point of that now? Are they going to haul out Wasserman-Schultz? No one is going to give a sh** about any of Bernie's points now that he's lost. Those protesters aren't going to get anywhere.

Talk about underwhelming - Scott Baio and that soap opera star who thinks Obama's a Muslim!?!?
Why does either party need celebrities - second rate has beens or not - at all?

As for Barron: he's definitely not classically autistic; it's possible that he's Aspergian.
Kraftie I don't know why you don't want to exchange your regular clothes for a pair of goggles and gauze robes. Are you also saying that you wouldn't rather live in one of those beehive houses??
I personally can't wait for Kanye and the new democratic party to give me my own artificial intelligence companion cat to live in my beehive home with me.
The DNC has scheduled speeches by seven mothers whose children were killed in confrontations with the police. This notwithstanding the fact that the legal system has cleared the accused officers in several cases. In an open letter to the police, Obama said, “We have your backs.” Well, too late. The politics of the democrats on the police has been set. Scapegoating cops to produce votes can only lead to a nation with its flags permanently flown at half-mast.
To me, the most important issue of this election will be the SCOTUS vacancies. With Scalia’s death, and Gingburg’s imminent retirement, there will be possibly 3 selections within the next 4 years, so the next president could stack the deck. I may not admire Trump but he listed no enemies of the Second Amendment, whereas Hillary names only enemies of the 2A. This issue alone should be enough to propel him into the White House.

It's not anti-cop to be concerned about police use of unjustified violence. If this isn't addressed, then more unbalanced individuals will bring about even more flags flown at half-mast.
As for that issue being enough to propel Trump into the White House - certainly not with black Americans, and I daresay more than enough white Americans won't vote for Orangutan head just for that, either.
