No surprise. The rightwing has been working to turn this country into a fascist police state since at least the 1970s. Militarizing the police and watering down the Constitution. Except for the Second Amendment, which is the only right that needs to be protected. :roll:

For the LIFE of me, I don't think I'll ever understand Conservatives being called Fascists!! AFAIK, the only thing "fascist" about a Conservative, is their nationalism----the ONLY thing!! I mean, most Conservatives would want almost anything BUT a dictatorial government. Conservatives are, all-the-time, sayin' that the government is too far-reaching----so, that sounds-like, to ME, that they do NOT want a dictatorial government. I just don't get it.

The only thing I can figure, is that the people who equate the two, refuse to stop equating them, cuz then they'll not have anything to whine, about.

Conservatives are less tolerant to unpopular minorities, and not only refuse to progress toward something better for those lower on the social rung, but even yearn for the "good old day." That is, conservatives oppose change just for "the sake of change," even though change is inevitable. Fascists feed that mindset to the masses. Hence, conservatives are rightly or wrongly associated with fascists.

But why would they want the citizens to have guns?


Because they are brainwashed fools, who think their little guns will protect them from a tyrannical government.

Considering the source, take it as a compliment like I do.They also love to apply the labels of bully and troll to those that disagree with them without sugarcoating it. Those should be taken as compliments as well.

You mean the dictatorial far-reaching government that wants to control people's personal reproductive rights? The dictatorial far-reaching government that wants to control people's personal religious beliefs? The dictatorial far-reaching government that gave us the Department of Homeland Security to spy on and control American Citizens?

Conservatives and fascist are one and the same.
