Know the industry, whatever yours maybe. My employees and contractors share my opinion; they are equally disgusted... My industry is overall right leaning, same with the clients and workforce.

If you had started with that, specifically talking about your industry and its response to the protests, your comments would have made more sense from the beginning.

Don't assume all employers treat their employees like crap... I was addressing Sweetleaf's question on public perception. I am more concerned about matching my clients expectations and if the media was to bash me for it, I would release a statement that pleases my customer base. I expect a company with a left leaning client base would do the same (please their customers as they see fit).
