I guess that its like back in the Fifties when teens invented the game of "playing chicken" with cars.

Driving two cars right at each other head on with your eyes closed, first one to open your eyes and grab the steering wheel looses.

But at least with the game of chicken you had a chance of being unscathed. Bite into a packet of detergent and - its a done deed- you cant avoid corroding your mouth. :D

It's the nature of the kid beast......many kids feel compelled to "stretch the boundaries."

It's really a part of "growing up."

f**k that, I'd offer a new iPhone and three years paid service for anyone that'll eat a pod in front of me. I supply the pods. Cull those weak genes now before they reproduce.

Yes, something must be done about that terrible Raptor before he goes too far!

That was you on the grassy knoll, wasn't it.

No, but I trained him to make those shots.
I supplied the derringer to John Wilkes Booth in 1865.
I was also the SS Einsatzgruppen Commander, Obersurmbanfuher Wolfgang Von Raptor, who directed the Babi Yar massacre in Kiev in 1941. Then later in 1968 as a platoon leader in the 20th Infantry Regiment I was responsible for the My Lai massacre in South Vietnam's Quang Ngai Province.
I've been directly involved in some of the most heinous acts of barbarism against humanity.

I think there was a Star Trek episode about you. Kirk is eventually going to beam your non-corporeal essence into empty space.

Funny,I always thought of him as Balok.

Blue Whale is an internet game that encourages young kids to complete a series of challenges with the ultimate challenge being suicide. It's real and many young people have died. One young girl was given the final challenge of laying her neck on a train track so her head would be cut off. She did it. I've seen the pics :( The game originated in Russia but it's spread all around the world. It's totally f#cked up.

Childhood nursery rhymes.
Comet,it'll make you vomit so eat some Comet and vomit today.Sorry I can't supply the music. We sang it on the bus, like anyone would actually eat Comet.Kids must be idiots today.
There's also a really violent one we used to sing.
Sung to Glory glory hallelujah
Teacher hit me with a ruler
I met her at the bank
With a loaded army tank
She ain't my teacher no more

Yet no one shot up the school, ever.
The other verse involves a loaded .44

They tracked down the originator and charged him but he walked free because he didn't physically have control of the kids. They made their own choices. It's totally f#cked up.

*sigh*

I thought of that game when I posted this thread. I knew the title was "blue something," but as I was writing a post referencing it I decided not to even bring it up here on an Autism forum because there are a number of suicidally depressed HIGHLY impressionable people who read these pages. I decided it was for the better of the forums, the internet, and more specifically anyone who may read this thread not to even mention that "game's" name.

But, since it has in been brought up I feel compelled to make a statement about it.

Blue Whale is not a game. It's been created by TERRIBLY sadistic people who use it to manipulate extremely vulnerable people into doing horrible things, self harm, and eventually to commit suicide. These twisted people get some sort of enjoyment out of having complete control over others to the point of being able to manipulate them into taking their own lives. Blue Whale is NOT a game and should never EVER under any circumstances be googled, researched, or read about - even out of curiosity. That is how they find & connect with their next potential victims. Someone hears or reads an internet rumour about it, looks it up, starts reading, and then is captivated by the "magic spell," of the words these people use. They become enchanted by what they read and by the time they figure out that they've been drawn into the whole ruse, it's far too late for many, and they're stuck in a downward spiral of following the commands of some anonymous sadist half a world away who's intent is to, ultimately, cause you to take your own life for their sick and twisted pleasure.
