Very much so. I can't recall who said it, but there's an old quote that basically laments that Queen Victoria wasn't alive when it broke out, she'd never have stood for it. Tsar Nicholas II, Kaiser Wilhelm II and king George V were all cousins, and she was their grandmother.

We're way ahead of Trump on the wall... Hadrian's wall went up centuries ago. OK that was the Romans, but they were over here at the time.

...Yes...I've heard that, immediately post-that little bang-bang affair in Sarajevo,.observers, noting how many of Victoria's children had been married off to Germans, were unsure which side the U.K. would come in on :P !

...Although, to give the other side a chance, I suppose a Wall did adequately for China :? ?
And, as far as European monarchies go, there's that whole line of thinking that holds that the old-guard monarchs bear blood from Jesus and - He married her - Mary Magledene? :P

I forgot about the Great Wall of China... the greatest wall of them all. Visible from space, apparently... in case we get invaded by aliens.

Don't know where that "visible from space" crap got started. Most US highways are easier to see from low earth orbit than is the Great Wall of China. And some go overboard by saying that the Great Wall is "visible from the Moon".

Having your eye focus on the great wall from the moon is like trying to focus your eye on a single blonde human hair against a blonde colored background from the distance of the length of a football field.

The Great Wall didn't stop the Mongols. Nor did it stop the later Manchu invaders from Manchuria, nor the still later Japanese army also coming down from Manchuria in Japan's war of aggression against China that would merge with World War Two.

On the other hand you could say that that was just three failures in 2200 years.

Picky! Picky! Picky!
